The instructors are good. All of them, even the cranky ones. Except that maybe on a bad day they might fail you if you do badly.. Of course some of the instructors are worst, i would say 2 only.

First time i took prac 1 kena 4 times. Then the instructor give guailan look also piss me off, make things worst. Then another instructor was totally fierce and sort of shouted at me, and frowned like a biatch cus i go park back under building and people followed me behind. So kena screwed.

But all in all, i find strict methods prove to be safer. Cus once you ride outside you would tend to be more careful, and also when your tp you know every course and every area what to do due to extensive scrutinizing. Gl to those takin tp test, i just passed mine on 24sept. Just treat it like normal cr and rr can already :)

pulsar can save you alot of money on petrol but if you are thinking of high speed then pulsar is not recommended.

the ex local petrol is one of the reasons why i usually go into msia to pump. only pump sg petrol only when bo bian. their grade of petrol is not inferior to our local ones as some may think. $2.25rm/litre (vpower), include the toll charges in, sg-$1.40, msia-$3.20rm (to and fro) i still save a substantial amount.

i'm targeting super 4, so not worth to get a first hand bike since most likely be using it for one year only. anyway fz150 is a rather new bike, not sure can find a second hand one

@dafansu: if you are getting 2nd hand bike, go talk to people in the pulsar thread (and some people in real life) to get a better idea of how the older bikes are. i've heard quite a number of interesting contradictions being told (in forum vs in real life).

i suggest that you look at ybr and cbf if the look of the bike isn't the most important thing for you. if you want something that looks like a super4, then you might want to look at comet and roadwin, though they don't have much power.

after one year of not riding, dont think can pass my class 2A.

Can be done one. Have personal friends whose first bikes are 2A class. it's all up to you actually. 2A is totally different even if you ride a 200cc, the max displacement of 2B class in terms of power & weight. Only thing you may lose hang of is the clutch control & shifting. You may lose confidence in banking, but that can be eased with training and CR later on.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

i disagree with the subject of inferior petrol quality, i pumped both local and msian petrol, there isnt any difference at all, i think it's a misconception that most people adopt... sometimes, cheap does not mean bad.

i was thinking maybe its a good idea to invest in a simple petrol filter, even an inline one that can be installed between the tank and the carb just to be sure you don't get these stuff going into your carb and engine...and maybe this is a topic more suited to another page :)
