IPhone as GPS

Do any of you guys use your iphone as your gps?

 

Which app do you use, and does this offer turn by turn navigation such as

 

"Turn left in 200 metres"

then

"Turn left at Bugis Street"

 

Just wondering if I could use the iphone as my GPS while just keeping the iphone in my pocket and listening for directions.

I use Tomtom...

i use Google maps. cracked one. haha.

 

you can listen to directions but i prefer visual guide. i stick it on my iu when i need it. does help abit but can be quite glitchy if travelling underground.

tomtom and sygic are good. i got both on my phone. tomtom is more accurate, but this is based on my experience in kl.

how to buy it? the itune account does not allowing local to buy

invest on PAPAGO!....its the best...even in tunnel when no gps signal...it can simulate ur position with the latest riding speed....i drive in KL tunnel...never failed me

i keep my iphone in pocket and stop by the side to check if i forget

if in singapore i use navfone

 

if for malaysia i use papago m6. get the light one will do more cheaper..

 

alternative is sygic that one is realistic in a way where it actually shows u the landscape is it upslope or downslope..

Can i ask if we can listen to earpiece for directions while riding? Is it legal in Singapore?

yes its legal, i listen to music while riding, road block police also never say anything.
