Will 08 model looks like suzuki gsr? anyone knows if fazer can affix fairing? how much will it be? was quoted 14.8OTR on 600cc. Was told to go to motoworld fer wide variety of side boxes....

08 would most likely look like present fazers with a lil bit diff here n there. maybe diff color schemes. a makeover is given usually about 5 years in between..

 

as for fairing, full-fairing onli see on FZ1S.. not sure about the 600 mate.

 

anyway, were u SiSpec 'A' coy perm staff?

U switched from S4 to fazer? ya considering to get the bike as i seldom see the bike as 2nd hand goes to show its good and for 6oocc its quiteaffordable, asked a few days back n was quoted 14.8otr....

FYI yamaha just upgrated the fz6 for 07 model so you wont see any more changes except diff colour scheme :)

Price is around there but was told tat last month ASphoon quote 13.7k otr

 

 

As for side box currently there is still no news from givi yet except H & B but sporting is bringing in the givi V35 which is FJR look alike around end july you might want to check later.

Fairing for the new S2 model yes there is but EX cos currently only in europe n it is OEM

seem like the 07 model have 3 catalytic as compare to 04' or 06' model.

 

 

Added in there is also a co2 sensor just before the mid-pipe link on the 07 new model which the old doesn't

i still prefer e FZ1 full fairing...

 

sometimes you hav to see the real product but i still think the half-fairing is nicer then full

FC for 07 FZ6. I just collected my bike last wednesday and i just clocked 268.9km on my mileage be4 heading to the petrol station. I'm having 17.6km/litre. Heard some bros getting 20-22km/litre on their FZ6.

 

Is it normal to have such low FC during run-ins/break-ins?

I might be Left Handed, But I'm Always RIGHT

must top up to the brim...

tat's wat i didn;t did when i got mine too.

having like 280km b4 reserve when i 1st got my bike.

after which some kind soul mention to mi abt topping up to the brim.

den i've like having 300km+/- b4 reserve.

all based on stock bike.

 

after changing my end-cans & replace the cat.

i'm still getting back the same mileage (300km+/-)

 

* all above mileage based on 90-100km/hr (mostly high-way riding)

 

 

BUT now, i think is b`cos of my heavy right hand, i'm like getting 280km+/- b4 reserve. doing average of 100-120km/hr (mostly high-way riding)

during run-in period, u get lower mileage probably due to the constant stopping and moving off from the traffic junctions i guess. majority of my run-in i rode on minor road, changing gears constantly so that i can utilise all the gears. mileage was lower then.

 

now i'm averaging 300+/- after run-in, riding mostly on highways. and yes, fill my petrol to the brim too.

anyone here changed their stock fz6 '07 windshield to the taller ones, after market ones? for original yamaha touring screen... i was quoted 225 from HL

looks weird.... the front header fairing is not matching wif the full-fairing. as compare to the FZ1 . the FZ1 full fairing looks better. i'm disappointed. YamaHAH! should done a better job. It seem like the after market one for 04' , 05' and 06' it much better looking the the original 07' one.

I don't think its a good comparison. One is 400cc and the other is 600cc. If you want more power, of course get fz6. If you want something cheaper, it will be spec3.
