Hi guys, been riding for close to three months now.

been enjoying every single second of riding till now.

only thing is. theres always one thing making my ride less comfortable.

due to my big head, even LAB auntie gave up on me when she offered me her EVO helmet XL. she said it was the biggest one she could find but its still too tight for me.

anyone of u having the same problems as me?

what was ur solution to it?

Different people has different head profiles/ shapes.

Some are suited to this brand of helmet, some suited to others.

If the particular brand/ model does not fit you or create pressure points, try another brand.

There's definitely one that is suitable for you.

When you tried on the helmet, is it to the point of being very uncomfortable/ painful/ pressure points at certain areas?

It should be snug, not tight.

I tried several, several helmet models before deciding on one, cos it is the only barrier between the tarmac and the head. A ill fitting helmet is as good as useless.

Did you go to other shops to try?

Shoei/ Arai/ HJC/ Shark...etc.

Always go for full face, bro.

Talking about FF, honestly I say go for it, nothing wrong with open face for everyday but **** happens and I reckon you would ride with the visor up with open face helmets, wouldn't want to wait for **** happens wouldn't you.

quoted for truth. $300 for entry level FF can save $6000 in dental implants. let's not even talk about facial reconstruction. if u're afraid of heat, shoei x-11 is often cited as being the helmet that flows the most air. google reviews!

Ridden bikes for a quite sum time and bought a lot of helmets.

But the best helmet ive owned till now is definitely ram3 from arai.. The cost is crazy but u will now y once u own it.

For me its the weight and the fit. The visor is also hard and truely anti scratch. Unlike some helmets which no matter how good u took care of it, it will scratch and u dont even noe wer it came from.

I suggest investing more on good helmets. After all its ur head, u decide how much its worth...
