My whole family got bike licence (mum, dad, brother and sister). Being the last child in my family, i'm always not in priority to them. Even when it comes to bike licence. Like most of the forumers here, i finish everything then i told them. Hahaha... But i still love my family!

your parents are right riding is dangerous there is no way to reason them in this, u will sure loose. may be u can tell them that u learn 2b not bec that u wan to ride on the road but u wan to be a responsible road user next time, u will know why bike react this way and know how to look out for them.

to me, I'm blessed to have parents that not only gave me some financial support to get my bike but also before every ride, my mum, she'll kiss me on my forehead. Yes I'm 20 and I'm not ashamed. Things like this is what got me. No need say much.

i dont know why they like to make bike lesson longer waiting time. i think it will make the situation worse lor, those that just pass 2B might chiong on their bike cuz it took forever to get the licence

I'm assuming you are still a teenager, 20 odd or so. Let's do it the peaceful way.

 

I also assumed your parents afford a car, so enrol in a driving license to appease them first. Ask them to pay for the fees, trust me, high chance they are willing to pay for you.

 

Their current mentality might be that you prefer riding bcos you never drive before. So be it, go learn driving first.

 

While learning to drive, go for riding lessons at your own fees. Riding is your own business now, never borrow money from your parents to learn riding since they already opposed to it.

 

You can just say you want to experience both worlds and make your decision later, rather than regret later. Never ever in front of them insist that you die die must ride after getting the license. Say you will decide later.

 

After getting both license, try driving first, then complain here complain there. Eventually, suggest to "try" riding instead.

ya i also dont know why. i think too much people taking 2b already. not enough staff. i now already at prac 4 still choinging la lolol!
