Ok noted.Dont need to bother what i posted.I had obviously wasted my time and effort.

It shows clearly your level of maturity and understanding.

FYI i will never create a scene to gather people's attention to prevent him from doing the same act again.

one of those that is giving PMS a bad name.

the poor guy was just trying to do his job. there are better ways to handle the situation. she pick the worst. or should i say she is picked by the worst by letting her temper control her while proudly claim she is trying to change the pump attendant.

Coz cars can open fuel tank cover without keys, unlike bikes. Unless u trust your friendly pump attendent with your precious bike, then let them pump for you lah.

I disliked shell's no sitting on bike policy but noticed that the other stations doesn't enforce this. So I will just pump at other stations instead of shell. There is a shell about 2 blocks away and I refuse there even when I am riding or driving. Been so for about a year.

So just go to other stations lor.

Yes exactly that's why i am trying to explain to her and share with her.

It's so obvious she either don't understand or maybe she is too stubborn to admit it's her mistake.

Frankly speaking if i was the pump attendant let's see who will be more ferocious and will become the "WINNER".

As you mentioned, that poor guy was earning a living and most probably don't have any idea the consequences will be through his actions.

Worst still he isn't a biker. If everybody are going to act like her,the world would be in a state of chaos.

The rest i will leave it to your own imagination

From your point of view also makes sense.Don't be surprise, some car owners who owns expensive cars dont behave the way she does.

I used to wonder why petrol attendants don't pump for us. I prefer they don't set double standards and pump petrol for us too, like the way they do it in Thailand

The world will be a be a better place if we have more respect for others.

So what if we ride a bike?

So what if we drive a car?

Remember that the guy/ gal behind that cashier counter, manning the pump...etc is just another guy who is trying to earn a living.

I really don't see what's the fuss with pumping petrol for our own car/ bike.

to think abt it, i didn't bother when the service person help to top up my car but when i top my bike , i do try not to drip on my bike as it will turn my paint to faint yellow. i believe this is due to the orientation of the filler cap.

The guy is trying to do his job and i bet you he is trying his best to do it. Need to create a scene for what? Eh babe. You know what is more simple than than creating a scene to make sure he doesn't do it again? Talking to him nicely.

I prefer to pump myself too, till now no attendant yet offer his/her service. :)

Actually our reason sitting on the bike while pumping petrol, providing balance to the vehicle so can pump till the max. :thumb:

Seriously, I don't see the problem here at all. First off, in SG and Mesia, I have mostly seen bikers pump petrol on their own.

With regards to Shell's policy, yeah, a lil hassle to un-mount to pump, but either you go thru it, or like some of you guys', just bring your business elsewhere..

Hmm, any real issues here boh?!

Feel strange to see the attendant pump the petrol for my bike. My gas cap is the removable type with the key slotted in type.

Firstly i am not able to go off because the key is on the fuel cap. Later someone else take the key after the fuel attendant put it back. Secondly he pumped, i just stand besides to watch. Really awefully strange. Last but not least, if he accidently dropped the fuel cap and broke the key, i really Lan Lan.

Pumped myself better.

That is one of the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

We are not Tiongs, so we don't create a scene to solve problems or send messages. With the advance digital technology, do not be surprised that you might end up in cyber space for the wrong reasons and it gives bikers a bad name.

Also, on a legal perspective, it is often separated by a very thin line between verbal abuses and criminal intimidation. We will never know the possibilities and going head on with the might of a petrol chemical company is totally stupid.

Never ever create a scene no matter what. Always talk nicely because creating a scene will only antagonise others and make things worse. And in the first place, I always pump myself and thank the attendants for offering before declining their offer. I've seen attendants spill petrol on the cars and bikes then tried to salvage by pouring water all over the place and even during some times, without closing the fuel cap. Prevention is better than cure. Don't get into the pickle in the first place if you don't think you can handle it.

If you read my post,i have already stated the same on talking nicely. That part.

That's what she replied.Based on what she posted and replied, its pretty obvious due to her maturity level, intellect, behaviour and understanding. She comes under the group of "AH LIANS".

Thanks for trying,we are wasting our time and effort here

I rather pump the bike myself. And I don't wanna get off my seat. Can't get a full tank that way. And I'm too lazy to dismount anyway.

So if a station doesn't let me pump sitting down, I'll just ride off and find another station.
