(Help) Improve Visor Visibility on rainy day.

Hey There, is there any product to help repel water or keep away water from visor on raining day...

 

I felt irritated wen riding on rainy day wen my visor is covered with rain.. i try to wipe with my bear hand

but it make my visibility worse... Hope any of eu guys feel wat im trying to say...

 

P.S : Im using Nova Dot Helmet...... Thanks...

A good helmet will not allow that.

My $35 gpr helmet doest have water seeping.

because mine's a FF..the first day i bought i already notice a small gap enough for water to get in but i forget to ask shop owner..now bo bian..buy le..only can think of ways to solve it

there shud be a rubber seal rite? when u close ur visor, try n press down a little more to make it seal better.. thats wat i hv to do for my HJC CL-ST..

Haiyaaa... Ah xian not selling any more rain[coat] for visor... Any other solution to help me? Rainy days is bad for rider like me..

Meantime wat u can do is to use car/bike wax that you r currently using on ur bike [was told soft99 works] and apply to ur visor. I believe tats wat some riders are doing but the effect wil only stay for a rain wash or so. But if you do try out only on a small area that is not within ur sight on the visor and c if it turns hazy after wipe off as some wax contains stuff that turn plastic hazy. Or u can also try RainX [meant for car windscreen] as some says that it also work on visor. But stil need to try on small area first as the instruction on the box says not meant for plastic but can try on small area to c how.

Hey ah xian.. Thanks fer de info. My wax is creamy white.. I afraid it mite damage the visor... But i will try the windscreen spray.. Bt hopefulli it werks for plastic.. Thanks again. Hope eu will bring in rain[coat] product again.. Upzz for eu..

Just my 2cent

 

I have been using zippo to clean my visor as it remove dirty much much better.

 

After the cleaning, i used the rain repellent meant for car windscreen. It actually work the same way just that you only need to put 1-2 drop into the sponge you use to wipe your visor. After that use a good cloth to wipe the visor smoothly and gently. And you are good to go!

 

But avoid touching the visor with your own hand when u handle helmet. =)
