Yes, can buy without licence.

But i would advice you to wait.

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Yeah bro best is to wait. Imagine the bike just sitting at your carpark.. its quite hard to resist the temptation to ride without license. Bikes are always there. Wait 4 months or even 4 years later still have one. Maybe you might come across even better ones..

its just best to wait... its not guaranteed 100% you ll get ur license in 3 months time also no offence but you know how difficult is it to pass ur TP test nowadays?? i ll would suggest like what most of the forumers here will say its better to wait.. i ve been thru this situation as well wanting to get my sp b4 i get my licenses but lucky i didn't cos i didn pass my 2b until the 3rd TP test imagine half a yr for me to control my temptation to ride my bike without license and whats worst im still waitin for my TP test..

what will the consequences be man..

caught by TP or any authorities, no more TP test for u...

worst case get my life or others endangered... not worth la bro...

its been so long...

Wait for your licence first. Laying up is not good for the bike since the fluids and rubber will disintegrate over time without being ridden. And like the rest of the bros mentioned, you cannot resist the temptation and risk losing the chance to get a licence should you ride before your TP test. There is always a bike available for you.

Be patient and wait. Focus on your test first. It is stressful enough without having the added pressure or having to pass because you have bought a bike.

hey bro, are you trying to self practice with the bike?

bikes are like that the longer you wait the cheaper it is. So i suggest to wait till you pass you TP test. I rmb there is this frenz of mine, search for his first bike for 6 months after he pass his test.

Let me put on my "evil bikeshop persona" and paint a scenario.

"Wahaha, this gullible newbie want to buy bike from me before he evens get a license, lagi best, he wants to lay up and leave the bike here!"

I will show and sell him a bike that is in good condition, then after he pays for the bike, slowly strip out good parts and replace it with rubbish parts. When he finally get his license and ready to collect bike, I will ketuk him again to say that these parts have deteriorated when the bike is in lay up. I will replace new ones, but you have to pay" Since he newbie, then lan-lan kena ketuk from me!

Is this scenario possible? Absolutely

Is this a risk you can bear?

Your choice.

Why buy from bike shop when you can buy from dealer? Bike shop will surely mark up the price unless they are the authorised dealer/distributor.
