small bike with FF..funny?

no is not funni..for me...i ever ride vespa with a FF n a jacket n a pair of gloves with armour....ppl laugh when i zoom past them..but for me i think is for my own safety.....always expected the unexpected

yes ever saw it in the new..but tat guy is that of the impact.....wearin amour n full face does not mean u will not die...but at least the amour n full face absorb most of the impact b4 it get to u...

 

for me till nw, all along i wear a full face....i muz tks my Full Face...if nt for my full face...i think i got no more lips.......

IMO , i feel tat its not funny or whatso ever , ff helmets relli protects .

 

I was involved in an accident ast time whereby i flew off n hit a lamp post head on . if not for the ff helmet , i think i would have been lying in hospital for a long time .

later added a pair of gloves

so ff + glove

later add on jacket ( normal jacket )

then ff too smelly change to open face

changing back to ff soon

My encik in camp last time told me. His friend wear an Arai helmet, buang liao, helmet helmet sui sui. Interior crack, he died of head injuries.. It Really boils down on luck when ever we are involved in accidents. But still, proper gear is a must, at least a full face helmet.

If a rider insists on open face and slippers, then whatever is being said and written about FFs and proper attire won't change him.

Until he crashed big time and lying in hosp with a abrasions all over, knocked out teeth, then he might think: "sh*t man, that time should have bought this ff and wore this glove"

 

I rode SP, then S4, all the while gloves with ffs. Bare minimum. I mean a SP and S4, or for the matter, a Wave or Blackbird, they all can hit 100kmph.

What's the differencce when you crash on these bikes at 100kmph?

U still fly and when u land, if the ff and protection makes that difference, that's that.

 

It's simple,if u know u will crash, will u rather crash with proper protection than a half face, slippers and shorts? It's will not guarantee you won't die, but it might greatly decrease the chance when the sh*t happens.

Well, the thing is that most riders will crash but don't know when. No point lying to ourslves here man...

 

The helmets and jackets only cost a fraction of your bike, and might last u a few bike changes.

Unless u really can't stand the heat, then nothing to say.

Still, it's anyone's choice.
