Hi guys, i would like to check with you guys how much is the original Wave S swingarm selling outside. My wave is now using a POSH swingarm, and every three to four days i have to adjust the rear wheel to tighten the chain.

is it due to the aftermarket swingarm or is yr chain due for replacement already?

to chrome is bout $20-$50 for swing arm...

 

for aft market swing arm PLS dont buy .....& dont try...

 

aft market 1s are not made to last ..thy r made too B light....

 

PPL weigh te facts B4 getting......aft market ARMS will give way

crome a swing arm??lettmesee...if you crome your swing arm u might hv

1st) clearance problems

2nd) if u unlucky. the crome PEELS off.and i mean REALLY PEEL...

3rd) looks kool but cromin aftermarket swingarm is a definite no no..reason. its made sooo damn light that mine gave way and it twisted the bearing and bust the brackets right thru my rims.

what i have in mind is chroming the standard swingarm.. like buying the original from hongleong, then send it for chroming.. along with the engine casings..

 

a question abt chroming (sori, abit off topic)

 

is it true there r 2 types of chroming process?

 

1 is polishing the metal surface until become shiny..

2 is the dipping it in liquid chrome method...

 

usually how long the dipping method last? i mean how long b4 it starts to peel? izzit dependant on surrounding temperature?
