My In-Cam Car recorded one accident along Chua Chu Kang Road junction of Teck Whye Lane on 20 March 2012 at about 0718hrs. One Gold 5-series BMW rear hit onto a P-plate M/cycle.

I wish to state that I have the footage of accident with me. If you (motorist victim) need the video accident, kindly contact me so that i can pass you the video

at that moment, motorist should have just ran the light. less dangerous than jam braking.

shoot..

maybe the motorcyclist should've checked his side mirror before jam braking..

Base on that situation, I think he doesn't even have anytime to check mirror.

Bang from behind is always wrong..the light turned amber critical moment that is where insurance come in..

But regardless who's at fault...motorist is the weak one, the rider is lucky this time..imagine he put on the same attire as the BM driver...

So..helmet, protection gear...knee cap, glove will will definately help....

you need to be able to stand up and healty enough to make claims....

Poor motorcyclist. I think e bmw is at fault for tailgating.

I think its more to not slowing down near traffic lights. The Arrow markings on the roads (when near a traffic lights) are not for show only. Anyway Amber means slow down and get ready to stop. This time the rider escapes unhurt. Thats good to know.

The rider will feel the pain later...Poor guy. all motorist should slow down when approching the traffic light and from the video seem like the driver going to beat the traffic...

Ride out in one piece and back in one piece:shy

Its bloody entirely e bmw fault, no excuse.. E rider irregardless whether p-plater or not was not doing anything wrong, he applied what he learned but that bloody driver was not keeping a safe distance !!! N pls lah give dat new rider a break, u expect him to learn how to look e side mirror whether got car behind him following very fast or near so that he can judge whether to speed up or to stop ? Dat bloody driver shud b e 1 keeping a safe distance from e motorcyclist !! N e P-PLATE displayed not for fun !! Stupid driver !!!

The rider was half hearted as to chiong the amber or not and the driver assume that the rider will beat the amber and he will follow. But **** happens. An experienced rider or driver will check his mirror before trying to do an e brake on an amber. At least for me i will. U wouldnt want a tipper truck to be the one hitting u from behind.

I wouldnt say that the driver was tailgating, coz if he did, the moment that rider did an e brake he would have kissed immediately. I would say both were at a speed to chiong the amber. IMO

And at least the driver went out to see the rider first den help to lift the bike(which i dont think he has a 2b judging from the technique he tried to lift) rather than he go out and kpkb bout the damages on his car and the riders fault.

Obviously e driver was travelling fast behind e bike n "the driver ass-u-me that e rider will beat e amber".. That's bloody dangerous, assumption when approaching a traffic light with vehicle infront of u is asking for trouble..

God knows when he got his license, 1day? Close to a year? P plate or not, judgement and instinct should come in play naturally.

I dont think the red light camera is there already. They removed it. Just like the downslope with red light camera along pasir ris going to expressway..

It doesnt matter lah when he got his license, e P-Plate was displayed clear on his bike for wat ?? That's to tell other motorist that to look out for him as he's inexperince rider.. Unlike those mangkuk who shy/embarrased to display it n get themselves into trouble..
