Hey guys just curious but there's a really nice Dragstar parked at the basement of Singapore Land Tower, any one here owns it?

hi guys.. finally got my dragstar today.. the first ride was just too sweet to put words to it.. i had tot that it would be unwieldly as it looked huge and heavy but to my surprise, handling was such a breeze hah.. and its damn stable too.. compared to my vespa, the drum brakes work whenever i call upon them, the front brakes sensitive to the slight pull of the finger.. my heart jus melted at the very bark of the iginition.. this is definately a bike which i will nv regret owning...

 

 

on second note, i found that my headers were very rusty.. the inside portion hidden by the chrome outer tubes... is it common? (its a very old bike byw.. fp plate.. 97..) does this require immedieate attention like spraying hi temp paints over it??

header? do you mean the pipe end? if you want to spray hi temp paint over it, you will have to scape off the rusty component first. otherwise, i would suggest you bring it to a rechrome shop and have the end rechrome.

any of your frens looking for dragstar custom?? left bike at shop for 2 weeks and now shop owner still dont want to PAY me!! (and i cannot ride back cos cancelled my insurance!!)

 

now short of cash(cos bought new bike and paid for it already), need you guys to help if you can!!

You can try Looi's motor bah... not sure if thats the best place but i remember seeing a lot of filters by K&N upstairs.

Went tLOOI MOTOR this week,did not see any KNN filter for Dragstar.

It's fine! Should able to find out from some other shop! :cheeky:

Remember it is the 650cc version as there isn't one for 400cc.

 

And just to add-on, adding the K&N air filter doesn't necessary boost your bike performance as it really depend on your bike air cum fuel ratio, tuning might be necessary if not, petrol will be too lean.

ok recently, there have been many dragstar riders here selling their bikes... dunno why also la but then i'll add my name to the pack so hopefully it'll pick up and grow again...
