No idea bro... I only can decipher the code.. But not sure where this switch or sensor is. I assume it's in the engine oil compartment

Hi there. New nc700x dct rider here. Just wanna check with the dct model owners... do you get 30km/l as stated in this forum? I read and asked a few riders that they consistently get that figure but was wondering at what average speed. I understand that ppl who travel up north cruise around 150km/hr + and get a reasonable 24km/l.

I average about 120-130km/hr daily and i get about 25km/l.

Just wondering thats all. :-)

So far average over 2000km is 26km/l. Mostly 50-70km/h over congested roads.

Think manual nc700x is getting much better mileage at 30km/L... Anyone changed the air filter yet? also valve clearance?

Not true. This is cos I'm mostly at 5th gear due to slow traffic. On days when I go on highway, get 29km/l. The best gauge is to average over a long distance. But as this is the daily to/fro from work at 5th gear mostly, 26km/l is what I'll get.

Maybe I am wrong, that was why I said, "I think..." But i am always on 5th gear and seldom on 6th... Unless I am on the expressway... Riding style could play a part... Nevertheless, I could be wrong... But I always get 30km/L... And I will say again... I think that manual gets better mileage...

Manual definitely have better mileage, because they can clutch in from far when approaching a stop.. My dct is constantly give me 29.

Usually my consumption ranges from 29 to 29.8.

The furthest I went was 390. So far only managed to pump 13.8 litres.

When pumping 13.8 is my bike almost empty already. Because can feel the bike is dying

On dct. If I maintain below 3000 rpm. I'll average 29km/l or more. Beyond this rpm, in local conditions I'll get minimum 27km/l.

One thing to take note, I had ridden till the bike died on me and I only managed to get in 13.68l of petrol. :faint:
