Anyone got any idea what's the Price Tag of these items i want to get for my ncx coming next month...trying to calculate how much i would need to install these items...:

1. Puig Dark Smoke Touring Windsheild

2. Crasbar - H&B or Givi

My mileage now almost 6500km..as usual alot of commuting frm home to work,run errands..nway boon siew im not so sure they can do my bike since mine is parallel import..

I think its a gd thing the engine is a basic one,not much electronics..much like d honda africa twin..

is there really a need to do valve clearance and wash carb? this is my 1st time owning a brand new bike, so im not 100% sure... but i have traveled a even longer distance with other bikes but didnt had such things done... cox frm wad i heard, its best not to touch the carb at all, not necessary to wash it cox if they screw up the setting than ur bike cannot perform like it used to anymore... valve clearance is done at 7500miles usually or less if its a race bike... pls correct me if my info is wrong, i'm still rather new to biking world.. thks~

Maybe some solution compound that can flush out the dirty carbon ...but not sure really works

You only require to inspect every 12000KM & is not a must to clean. Anyway, our bike is fuel injection & there is no carb for you to wash.

Could not find Stebel air horn black colour so ended up fixed electromagnetic horns, it took me almost 3 man hours to get it done. I customised my own brackets & installed without modify the original horn sockets & bracket.

sam, dont face the opening front where water can go in frm splash... try to face it back n down, so it reduce chances of water going in

Sure, thx. My last bike fixed 4 horns using same method & going strong for years. Reason due to connector issue. If 2 horns can't frighten cars, I'm going to fix another 2 horns.

wow bro look neat.. if u want a black stebel horn probably u can get it at wing yap .. cz i bought it from wing yap for my previous bike..

 

however i have to use a bigger fuse when i used the stebel horn if not it will trip the stock fuse..

same here bro.. no electronical stuff to be installed untill the warranty ends.. for my case, i always take out my ciggy socket whenevr go servicing with BS.. if were to install horn, i think its rather troublesome to install and uninstall it..

 

i think i shall have to wait till may 2013 than i can install electronical stuff.
