Looks good. I was considering the 40 or 42litres journey series for topbox, end up took the 40litres as there is quite a difference in price for 2 litres of space. Now eagerly waiting for next shipment to get my panniers.

Actlly juz spoken to Boon Siew confirmed the bikes out of customs, but alot of other logistical procedures and paperworks. By end of sep should get the the bike.....

Actually i kinda prefer cbs.... Same had it on the blackbird, i think too used to it already... Feel mre secure

Just got Engine crash bar $260 and fender extender $40. M-tec

 

Personally found the Hepco Crash bar very poor quality in the alignment sense (Bracket out of alignment).

 

Need to realign. Any hoot, hope it fit good, cause look nice

 

As for the fender extender, need to drill 4 holes

 

Almost bought the hugger ($260 can't remember). Ermax hugger, don't know to buy or not

Ive used plenty of hepco stuffs before, if anything, i would say they are too precise.. Making it a pain to install some times..

If you insert a bolt from one hole to the other hole it cannot line up since one of the bracket is welded off center. ha ha have to use pics to better understand. Maybe i lucky lor, got the mis-align one

I get what you mean but not due to that. The crash bar maybe, cause its looks out.

 

This one is the center bracket below the peak (below headlamp) to hold the crash bar.

 

It's like inserting the front wheel axle rod, if the wheel hole and suspension hole don't line up, the rod can't push all the way to the end.

 

I can bend back but should I? Wait bend the wrong direction ha ha.

 

Any hoot, shouldn't be an issue under the right hand. I am just very particular about quality of workmanship

I think you shld jus for your bike to come b4 further assessment.

I've been having good experience with h&b products so far, but i suppose a one off qc would be possible.

 

I probably will b getting my bike ard e same time as u, n will b installing the same crash bars too, but at mtechnik. I will let u know if i witness similar issue.

Guess you were the first to fix it up cos by the time I got it installed, they did it in 25mins or lesser.
