not big at all trust me

but

juz love some big visual and deep loud audio.

i'm sure it will fit since its still a flat tv.

since my 42in could fit to a small master bed room , i am sure it wont be a problem with 60in at the living area

Gosh 1,499 for only 42" then... Technology prices fall very fast...

6 months to decide only in 6 mins? I supposed you decision is also with the help of your 6 long months experience bro, so it's worth deciding.. hehe

Yeah, not sure why got good feeling for SAMSUNG TV. Perhaps I'll focus on this brand and prey on the right one at the right time, hope got lucky draw too haha :)

You mentioned on BlueRay, to optimize this LED should serve its purpose right? Btw, which BlueRay player you use?

Bought my Philips 42" led tv for $1499 at their annual sale last year. There were cheaper led tv of the same size. There were some bells and whistles in the model I bought and it was closest to my budget.

It has this ambience light feature which makes watching tv in the dark without straining your eyes.

It's almost a year, and I feel my decision was rational but I wouldn't regret if I had gone for Samsung which was slightly cheaper for one with similar specs.

This tv is mainly used for watching tv, occasionally watching blue-ray, and once a blue moon playing games. It can playback pics and videos directly from a thumb drive or connect to My Computer via ethernet.

Took more than 6 months to research but less than 6 mins to decide. :)

It's always at their office in Toa Payoh

Talking about game, am very backdated... my last exciting game was Counter Strike... haha.. I was once hooked with this game, at that time used to play at LAN gaming...

Which game console you/your bro use to play?

Yeah, the LED tv is damn nice to play games. My bro plugged in his Dante's inferno on the LED tv at home and we spent the whole day judging souls in the afterlife. The graphics damn nice la... Very clear...

If you plug in SCV, make sure you choose the best resolution, but it could be better la. If you plug in blue ray, like showroom like that. Super clear.

nope. i already married. juz waiting for my bto flat.

i got my 42inch plasma when led just came out. so that means i dont mind going a lil old sch as most tv already meet my expectations.

i dont need smart tv as i already have my galaxy tab to surf youtube etc on my "snake" time at work. trust me thats almost half a day gone if u add it up.

so in time to come a 60inch tv would cost way below $1.2k with freebies. nowdays, wall mount and installation are usually free.

Philips BlueRay Player, one shot buy all there. I think it was either $229 or $299.

Can go see see look look from June 7-10 at Suntect, PC Show 2012.. me going to hunt my prey too... but 42" probably is enuf after a series of discussion on this topic hehehe :-)

Oh like that you might get good buy as you do such bundle purchase. 229/299 quite a decent price, does it come with Satellite speakers all that or just the BlueRay player?

Bro, you missed my other question, does LED TV supports well for BlueRay input? What about those HD TV, is LED in-built with HD too?

All LED TVs, regardless of size, are True HD, ie.1080P. All blue-ray players are capable of displaying 1080P subject to the native resolution of the disc. ie. if you convert a VCD to a blue-ray format, whatever TV or blue-ray player, it will not be 1080P.

What about those HD TV, is LED in-built with HD too

Current HD TVs are standalone, no need for a separate box for HD decorder. Those are things of the past

I'm using a 42" plasma, and the picture quality is much better than the new LCDs/LEDs I'm seeing on the market right now. To me if the image is too sharp and crisp it becomes quite fake. I measured using meter and it only adds to my electricity bills (with current tariff) $30 per month, which I consider it acceptable.
