but the best ting i rem is my whole clutch assembly all brunt & wrecked...

msot of the details are there i believe ....lol

my oil change will be at 4k + for full sys eo...

was rec by their sales guy to try their "racing Grade" eo ...

can't rem but it should b 10w40 ...

say tis & tat very gd....

went up to thailand or sumting then cum dw to spore again etc etc...

very long mileage over 5k confirm ...

engine gear box nice nice etc...

hmm..

any way ....

read my prev thread ....

all have their own pref of eo....

use wat u deem value for $$ & good....

nt here to kick a fuss or anyting....

juz sharing sum postive & neg experiences tat all....

tat wat all biker should do rite....

for mi i will try no gd change loh...

 

for mi nw i using motul 300v & sticking to it ...

haha...

Maxima 20w50 , chess9000 15w50 seems to be a Hot favourite EO in the market...

my bike manual suggested to use 10w40 for my bike. but after read some of the posts, xW50 protects more. how how how

 

how is mobile? is it good to protect the engine?

 

Use what you are comfortable with. We are riding different bikes :thumb:

If for SP 150 what number you all recommend? currently im using 10W40. . .Motul 710

  • 2008-2009: Honda NSR SP150
  • 2009-2010: Yamaha Spark T135
  • 2010-2014: Honda CB400 Hyper Vtec III
  • 2014: Kymco Xciting 400i

SP is two stroke....so advisable to use Gear oil (Rockoil) very popular.. If you still using the 10W40 then you are wasting your money bro.

Hi guys... Maybe can try sharing some knowledge on different various EO available on the market which is suitable for different various bikes??

 

I am actually looking for the Esso 20w50 4T.. Went to LAB they charge $6/bottle which I think is quite reasonable, but they got no stock currently.. Wanting to ask if where else can I find this particular make...

 

I'm riding a Bajaj Pulsar 180 and Universal Mtrs will sell $10/bottle...

one is with labour and another without. Perhaps u can bargain at UM if u are planning to diy :thumb:

tried MOTUL 5100 15w50 4T ($20) - and feels like shi-t. compared to Maxima ultra 5w50 ($23) add $3 nia... big diff in performance.

 

MOTUL 5100 15w50 4T = semi-synthetic.

Maxima ultra 5w50 = 100% (Full) synthetic.

 

try Motul Full (100%) synthetic EO like 300v instead.

 

dun compare price-wise....

compare semi vs semi, full vs full synthetic EO instead.

anyone know how much diff is Maxima Extra 15w50's performance to Maxima ultra 5w50? wanna know if i should downgrade to Extra. cos i dun need the "5"w50, 15 will do but same smoothest and noise?

5w is reported good for hayabusa riders. 5w is thinner too.

 

btw. is putoline 15w50 from lab any safe to use? $8 btw.Im paranoid.

Bro, $10 include workmanship. I had changed my EO about 4 times since I got my bike. :)
