Stay safe. Just a friendly note - bigger bikes are safer compared to small bikes, larger tire contact patch, better brakes, immediate power when you need to siam kayu drivers... and more metal to absorb a straight on impact.

just caught this post.

bigger bikes go faster, more inertia too. reach final destination faster too.

this duke bike i think got class 2A super 4 sized tyre profiles.

anyway ups for quick sale. price nego.

got played out by 2 undecisive '"brothers" rest of the other nice fellas at least bothered to say not interested.

These 2 like to play treasure hunt. I want to buy bike but got no license yet. So i wanna register under brother name.

Negotiated price.. then back out so beware ya'll

As of now, i have reduced my asking price from $8500 to $8200 to $8000.

I found a slight dent on the bike frame after a small incident on my bike.

Mechanic has said its no issue to the overall structure.

So this is for INTERESTED and KEEN buyers ONLY.

THIS is still a KTM. Even though Bajaj is a main shareholder.

There are certain minimum standards adhered to and the duke has never disappointed me.

I can only say I have disappointed this Duke by wanting to sell it away.

Not sure if you have rode a real bike before.... but I doubt the riders here appreciate you cursing them like that.

More inertia is correct, but that's the reason why bigger bikes have bigger brakes. And to transfer that braking power - you need larger contact patch on the road, that's where the bigger tire profiles on bigger bikes have. Yes, your bike has decent brakes and good tire profile for a 125cc, but I was merely giving general friendly advice, no intention to discredit your sale.

Also, I think all KTM125/200 duke riders should just stop explaining to pple about the influence of bajaj or brembo brakes (on their OEM Bybre). Regardless of the brand, pple should do their own research. Just be proud of what you own, Bajaj , KTM or whateva, don't have to care what pple think of you.

Cheers - Ups

true. but more metal may not absorb more impact, it may cause more injury too
