When u guys turn the petrol knob to "reserve"??

 

Before the needle on ur meter touch the red part or after it enter the red part? or u don't turn at all? 0.o

to stop the fuel from flowing? hahaha.... ehz salah. reserve ar? ..... hmmmmmm use the fuel till finsh? normally i ON.. until the bike like no power then put reserve... then the needle can.. err... go after the empty mark

i usually turn the knob after the needle enter the red part. cos i'll feel the bike no power like tat when the needle enter the red part then i'll turn the knob to "resv".

For me, i turn the knob to reserve when it touches the red line ah.. coz we may not know how many kms will we travel before finding a petrol station to pump..

Gosh!

 

The white portion of your fuel gauge represents fuel from the main tank.

 

The red portion of your fuel gauge represents fuel from the reserve.

My bike's reserve can bring me from 40km to 60km.

 

That's the case if your main tank (white portion fo your fuel gauge), can bring the milleage of up to 210km.

Suzuki Swift 1.3A : 10/01/2009 --> 01/01/10

Dodge Neon : US 03/01/10 --> US 20/09/10

Kawasaki KLX125 : 27/09/10 --> 04/06/11

Yamaha X1-R : 09/06/11 --> 22/06/16

Vespa LX150 : 22/06/16 --> ???

You have two extras for it?

 

I have the bigger allen-key screws. But their length is not suitable as it's too short.

hmm but my bike somehow still can run when the needle reach Red lol...

The knob is at "ON" which is the main fuel tank haven't turn to "RES"

I thought the red part is just for us to know gonna low fuel, and reserve tank no show on meter 1 haha
