Err.. Newbie to SP society. Just got mine 3 weeks ish ago. Hope u experienced riders can help with my noob questions :S

 

1) Which shop sells SP parts? My mech said my rear brake pump got to change. Said when he tested it if press to hard it may jam. Best to change. Pref looking for shop in the east.

 

2)Which disc lock recommended for SP? and where to get it.(decent one can rdy, quite broke liao)

 

3)Stupid fella at vicom say my IU unit expire must change. Is it worth getting the new one? Read forum they say 2nd hand one $70 but no warranty. new one $155 but got 5 years warranty.

 

4) How to do basic conering O,o Everytime i enter corner is either slow down and turn through then throttle Or go on the inside then let centrifugal force push me out a bit while tapping brake lightly.

hey guys, newbie here. Theres something bothering me about my sp.

My exhaust is emitting ton of smoke, as if my bike is fogging the area I pass by. Plus, my exhaust is so called leaking. Is it the carbuerator setting or, is the smoke one of the sign of my piston jamming? Don't mention about the 2T..1 whole litre of 2T almost finish in 2 days.

 

Reply: Maybe your 2T setting set too high so the consumption of 2T so high... Go bikeshop & get the mech to check it out for you...

 

When I took out my bike a few days ago, the horn was working until recently. The horn does not work? Even when the engine was not running, the horn still wouldn't work, so I guess it can't be the battery right? Could it be the wiring?

 

Reply: Maybe your wiring to the horn came off / broken / horn spolit... Get a mech to check for you too...

 

And also, how much will it cost me to change my fuel gauge meter light, rewrap just the backseat or maybe how much is a new backseat?

 

Reply: $10 ~ $35... Must depend on the material of cloth you choose... Correct mi if i'm wrong...

Nothing to do with speedo meter... Just change the lever for your clutch & brake will do... Can get in singapore ah boy shop or at JB Ah gua lane...

But currently running on Nitrogen so only check like once every 2 weeks..

 

Heard that nitrogen is good... Where to pump & how much does it cost...

 

SG government already hate 2 stroke so much u still dare to ask them allow u mod lol.. Anyway there isnt any street legal 2stroke pipes except for aprilla i think..
