afternoon all! 3 more months i will be sp rider too! Haha. Glad to hear that alot sp rider from north area! I m staying in north area too! :)

like what i said above...turn throttle too much when engine not yet started...so cause too much petrol to pump inside...causing carb overflow...i kena once when bike stationary fall...have to push start liao...lucky sp is light :sweat: :sweat:

 

Hi guys, hope u can help me and give me tips/advice, just now while riding from my carpark to my nearest petrol kiosk, on the way there my bike stalled, cos petrol finish(including reserve). luckyli the SHELL is quite nearby, so i pushed slowly to the station, then while pumping petrol, i feel got liquid splashing/dripping below, when i looked below my bike, i see that petrol i pumped is leaking from the carberator!! i dont know what to do, i just leave my bike there and walk home slowly, called my friend, he said maybe carberator overflow something like that...

 

You guys know what's wrong? And what need to be fixed/replaced? Can we DIY our own or must tow it back to shop to fix?

And roughly how much?

suspect your carb got hole sia. or somewhere from your tank to your engine. guess it can't be DIY-ed easily. better to get a professional mechanic to check on that. cost wise, if parts have to be changed, then no choice la. if it's jus tightening of something, then it's cheap. :cheeky:

NTh wrong with ur crab. Jus off ur tank petrol and ride until dry den ok le! Nothing wrong. Cuz i kena once due to my carpark. Cuz is a temp carpark. After dry den remember to on back. Den continue to ride as per normal.

Wah liau, dont make me scared leh. . .my bike never dropped before since day 1 i got it, i didnt touch anything inside, suddenly i go to my carpark, start engine and ride off, in the middle of my journey to the petrol kiosk den this problem come.

off tank petrol and ride? no petrol how to ride?

 

Can! Cuz ur carb is overflowing. And thr is still petrol inside the carb. That y still can ride for a distance. Until all the petrol is fully use up. Den in the carb will be dry. Den after the drying up, jus on back ur petrol den petrol will flow in. WIll not have the overflow prob. :cheeky:

Cuz my wan is parking have a angle. Somemore on that day, i still go and pump full tank. And all the petrol jus flow out. And somemore i off my petrol. Den suddenly on it. The petrol flow like no tomorrow. Even i take out my tank to c wat happen also can't solve. Until i ride until now petrol in the carb. den problem solve. Den on back nothing happen!

confirm petrol, what i pumped in my tank, everything all leak below,No no not tube, straight from the carb, any idea what's wrong?
