Hi all! i just bought an sp 1 week back! too bad its on layup as i havent get my license. anyway, is there such a thing as the carb is tuned not to pull choked? as i got it from a fren's fren, he told me never to pull choke as the bike is tuned not to pull choke. once pulled, everytime start must pull.

hi, if we owners are not supposed to pull choke on our bike, why would honda's engineers put it there in the first place? sometimes you need to pull choke on rainy days cos engine is too cold, so an extra shot of petrol to boost the RPM is necessary to help keep the engine from dying...

 

but you can also tune your bike to be able to start without having to pull choke...

 

either way, choke or no choke, it will not affect your ride...
