Hi, i just buying a 2nd hand SP, but i wanna know which shop u guys recommend to go do the service or repairment? Cuz i wanna do a fully checking and change the unstable parts before i ride. Any suggestion?Thanks!!!! (Hope can get a place good but also cheap

Nice of U to join the thread, whats ur budget to do full service? U need to set aside at least $200/- for part servicing. If its just normal tuning or cleaning then $200/- shld be sufficient.

 

Racewerk got some promotion going on maybe can still check it out, there's also bikelab. Depend where U stay also lor.

Secondly,CivicR: u said 200 bulks just for tuning and cleaning? U mean 200 is not include change any part or? a little bit confused, thanks if u can enlighten me.

 

So far,i just know the tire no need change cuz the previous owner just change the tire last month. Any other thing i need to do or i just ride to the bike shop and said i need fully checking? Thanks again....

if u tell most bike shops u want full checking...be prepared to eat grass for some time

 

he changed tire but is wat kind...isit those soft compund made in japan tires..if yes thats good

 

200 sing dollars in JB can do 101 things

anyway they all recommended e planet n combine..u can go

I had a bad skid today...

It sucks to be on the ambulance

It sucks to be waiting in the hospital without knowing the condition of the bike

 

Just wanna let fellow new riders know it is fun thrilling to speed smtimes

But remember guys... its a painful and expensive experience.

For the tires,they are bridge stone and dunlop. Are they made in Japan one?dunknow....

Hi, when u first get yr bike, dun go alone. Some shops like planet are safe, but if you go to those robert shop they can tell if you new anot and leech the cash outta yr pockets. It's their trick you see, they know you know nutz so just tell you aiya must do this else if dun do ride out like dangerous or something. You hear this will you go ahead and do?

 

Get someone who knows abt bikes or some bikers frds go wif you. Just my thots...

Hmm well if you can post here den not so bad, i had a frd buang into lorry and fainted...woke up in hospital liao...haiz

Thanks,now i decide to go planet cuz i search the forum and haven't see the bad comment for this shop except some bro said it a little bit expensive. But i wonder if there is no major parts changed,just fully sevecing, and change some small parts then how much will be spent?i mean roughly.....
