Hi welcome. I will suggest you to get used to yr bike first b4 joining any outings. Familiar yrself with road and it's hazards first, no hurry to join outings cuz we always organize de and welcome everyone.

 

Riding in open road and during lessons is much much different. Open road, some drivers hack care abt you, see u also cut in, u horn they bo chup. Get use to yr bike power, braking distance, feel the throttle well, the riding posture all that is impt, cuz when danger comes, it's your skills and instinct which help avoid an accident.

 

Try not to try filter for now, not to go beyond speed limit, and explore here n there abit so you at least will roughly know how to get around.

Under the meter hav small meter can reset 1, u can??? U can reset to '000' after pump u fuel tank full full. Then until u petrol empty & stop beside the road, u can check the small meter show u how many km then that is u full tank milieage. Example u full tank milieage is 250km plus reserve(normal is ard 30km-40km), so u total mileage is 280km-290km...

 

But make sure u reserve every tm is full, If don u will very very jialat...

Small Tips:After pump u petrol when u open reserve, u can go out petrol staion ride few min 1st & close the reserve. It can help u reserve refill the petrol...

i hit 240 on synergy f1 before reserve. never tried on shell yet..imo, shell v-power runs the smoothest and starts easily

perhaps 310km incl reserve is really possible

pple haf really reached 250km b4 reserve

since reserve is around 2.7 litres, travelling an additional 60 to 70 km shld be possible...that is if u dare to try

 

but then again i m oni getting 220km b4 reserve

by 250km i'm off to e pump liao

if ur current tires r not sealed properly then it will leak air every week so last time on my bt39ss i have to pump every week

but since using tt900gp which were sealed correctly i presumed...after 3 mths my pressure never drop

 

so u check first, dun haf to always trouble urself n pump weekly

Vpower is a volatile fuel, thats y its smooth and power boosting as shell claims.... but its mileage is not as good as mobil synergy F1....

synergy F1 is a jb petrol, but sg have synergy 8000..... but the price is heaven and earth lor..... synergy F1 is RM1.51 per litre but synergy 8000 is SGD$1.60 per litre.... and exchange rate for RM is like $1-RM2.30, so calculate and c yrself lor...

i was a newb when i saw coolant stains on my rearset till it finally made sense. simple chemistry. coolants are mostly glycol based mixed with a fair amount of deionized water. water heats up when the engine is hot and turns into steam. in it's gaseous state, the pressure in your entire cooling system increases.

 

because as we know, water expands into steam and the pressure it exerts on it's surroundings increase exponentially (i forgot by how many times someone pls remind me) when this happens, small leaks that were not noticeable before simply release this extra pressure off and it results in a leakage.

 

that's why we must never open our radiator caps when the engine is hot. steam might just get pushed out and hit u smack in the face. guarantees to clear all pimples and blackheads at the expense of your face. only way to stop the leak is to use a better coolant (works for me) or retubing/ checking your cooling system for miniscule leaks. not really a serious issue unless the leak is immense.

Guys..something to ask...hw come when i pump full tank & ride,when rested my bike seems to be leaking oil...but once riding for some time & den rested the leaking does stop...izzit something to do wif the oil tank??

its juz a simple logic... coz when we pump till full full, its straight upwards, but once we put on side stand, its tilted at the angle, so the excess petrol will flow into the overflow tube..... and riding for some time, the petrol level goes down, so the petrol dun flow out lor.... so conclusion is there is nutting wrong wif the petrol tank....

as a guide, juz do some monitoring for a period of time first.... if there is really a problem, its should be leaking constantly.... if not, should not b a problem at all....

i managed to clock 260KM before opening reserve... actualli can go abit more.. but i on my way to JB liao.. so i on RES to save trouble..
