"yoshimura" rearset = footrest kit. i will give away on next outing. first come first served, if nobody's interested, i'll give it to the rubbish bin. oh and i don't do delivery. pls call 62353535 for that. thks for the pm guys and pls read up before shooting questions

 

@ nobody: the footrest kit/ rearset that we use has only one purpose - raise our toes off the ground a little higher to facilitate cornering. the brand name "yoshimura" does exist although those that we buy in sg and my are absolute fakes. the original ones are much bigger in size, comes in black only and is meant for racebikes 600cc and above. it would not even fit the sp if glued on and besides, it costs a bomb. i bought this set for it's purpose, not it's name but i didn't like the riding position with it so i got it changed back.

 

@ szetoh : how does one scrape the belly without grinding through the original footrest first? i can scrape my footrest's steel prod but that is as much as it allows. any deeper and the whole footrest will be scraping flat on the road.

depends on where ye get the sticker from. i used to have the sticker on my can, never peeled or got damaged. when i wanted to remove it, simply cut with a penknife and it comes off easily. got it from a shop in ah gua lane. if we were to have a jb trip again, i could show u which shop. price is 8RM.

Agree, being on a bike is so vulnerable and yet you want to increase dat odd...omg either the rider think can outrun the car if it suddenly accelerate delibrately, or got 9 lives...

 

Dunno how many times it must be mentioned, no stupid stunts, want go try yrself dun post here. Non-useful comments need not be posted, newbies comes in and learn and absorb things in forum. If anything happens wun make ppl feels good right.

Try PM KawBoy and he can recommend you a list workshop for installation.

 

Get a goodhose and you'll be sure it will serve you well, not any other cheaper steel hose you see on the market which cost like 45bucks per line. Not worth even mentioning at all. Good quality steel hoses even after many years are corrosion free and does not suffer from water vapours seeping in.

How cum u need to apply for exit permit??? U SAF regular??? If u go jb for less den 24 hr dun need exit permit 1 mahz... Btw tink that time saw ur bike at ah gua lane b4 hahahaha~

@ filbert, the right footpeg dropped out when i was riding. in it's place is a brass rod that doesn't look conspicuous. it has a little dirt on it and some oil stains. great for temporary use. not so great if rider wishes to use for more than 1 year. dropped my bike on it's side before while doing a 5km/hr freehand in the carpark. the set is really sturdy, only scratches.
