Hopefully this is not threatening to my rides:

After riding (pulling into carpark/to stop, etc...), everytime I kick down to 1st gear, there's this squeak squeak squeak sound...seems to repeat itself as long as I move in first gear. This doesn't happen when I start riding my bike.

Also, when washing bike, is it okay 4 me to spray the underneath of my bike. I remembered reading the SP manual that I d/l in this forum stating that when washing the places I should avoid is the carburettor, the chain etc etc... Right now, don't dare to take one bucket of water and pour it over my bike...

e rider oso has 250km b4 reserve

If it's stock den the pickup will depend on how the rider launch..Top speed wise,it boils down to who gonna reach it first..

haha, i can vouch for that statement and i believe all those who had joined me on outings and have seen the bike's performance for their own eyes can vouch for it as well

IMO the bike has demonstrated all along its superb health esp after its recent chain/sporcket change haha all stock with its big big tires too

and mileage is definitely not a problem as all can see...hahaha :cheeky: :thumb:

hmm..interestingly, i had the same specs for tires during the time i rode my sp,

problem is i couldnt see the tail-lights of many SPs who was out wif me trying their top on 2nd link(no offence to my friends who rode wif me on many occasions)...

i would admit i m not a gd or safe rider for reaching the top of 190km/h on the speedo so soon

My point here is the bike as it is has been capable of such performance, and i dun see how now that after 2 months, the same tires could be a hindrance to performance(once again, i dun mean any offence to anyone)

my SP's electrical problem. . .

so i went to a workshop today with a completely flat battery - neutral light also cannot light up when engine not started, then when engine started, neutral light will flicker according to engine rev.

told them that i suspected that it could be a rectifier fault, they probed it, found that it provided 13+V up to max of 14 V when at high revs. and so the pronounced they electrical system fine.

but there was a flat battery, so they sanded the contacts, reconnected it, and told me to be on my way. i still think there is something draining the battery such that the next morning the battery will be flat.

went out, rode to little india to find out that LAB closed for a funeral procession. forgot, left headlight on, then battery flatted again. So i went riding to charge the battery. seems like the battery is now charging fine. had a long 1 hour ride to CTE->SLE->KJE->Lim Chu Kang (woohoo! new top speed!)->AYE->ECP->Changi airport->ECP-> home.

now thinking about it, could it be possible that the ERP IU is draining the battery? i discovered that the IU is connected in parallel to the battery, with no switch, so it is continually powered. Is that a good idea? seems like a cheap hack to me. how else are you ERP IUs connected? Does it drain the battery in the first place?

sigh. when the bike runs properly it is such a fun bike to ride, compared to the phantom - this bike simply wants to keep a line at high speeds, not like the phantom that tends to drift to one side and needs some disciplining to get it to cut a nice curve. Not to mention that it is almost 2x the HP of the lardass phantom :p

Hi guys... just decarbonised my pipe today, added on bio-ion fuel cracker and DID O ring. Bike feels must smoother now i must say.

Anyway, i would like to ask if you guys can always start your bike on the first try. Because i cannot. Even if i just leave it there for a few hours. Must kick a few times and sometimes must off light and pull choke.

Is this normal? If not, do you guys know what may be the cause of this? Thank you very much.

Ya, it is normal...

1st: every morning u start the engine hav alot of white smoke becos engine still very cool, let the engine warm up 1st then u can see u smoke will not so much aready. White smoke is ok, if black smoke that mean u engine got problem liao...

2nd: 2T oso very important. If the 2T u buy is very cheap 1 oso hav alot of smoke can smoke mosquito. Try to use gd 2T or low smoke can help u low down u smoke.

3rd: Maybe u 2T open too much, try ask u mech check & adjust for u...

4th: Still thinking... :cheeky:

this is not a prob..v common

either upshift or open more throttle

the problem is when im on gear 4 onwards, i turned my throttle to maximum liao but my rpm will get stucked at rpm 5 for a few seconds... and the ride has becomed very rough... it used to be alot smoother and i didnt encounter any of this problems.. it occured after i serviced my bike yesterday... i washed my valve and and piston... my mechanic had some difficulty tuning my bike as he said my valve has difficulty opening.. he said the problem may be my jet setting or valve controller... wads valve controller?? in the end i rode off cos he's closing shop soon and im going back to resolve the problem tml... help..... i regret servicing my bike.. haaz...

i tink it means ur valve had got stuck wif carbon and hav difficulty opening?

but stuck at 5k rpm is something wrong...

u throttle to the max gradually or jus do it instantly...

mayb u over throttle?

mayb can try play wif clutch abit to c if it helps?

my inexpirenced comments & sugguestions..
