thats true...always get overtaken by e new pizza hut silver waves when i upshift at 5k rpm...its e norm bah...i noticed wave pickup always like tt 1

but perhaps e guy is ramming at 3/4 throttle...we never know cos their engine is so silent..

since i dont really need the top speed of sp as we are in singapore road and i dont want give money to garment

and i hardly ever go beyond 120km/h

so getting a wave is much better economical wise?

sorry to drop in uninvited... but f.y.i.. i'm also riding Innova 125.. equivalent to wave la.. n economical wise... yes.. its definitely yes... coz with 1ltr of petrol.. u can go as far as roughly 50++km... provided u dun modify la...

unfortunately... it has a small tank.. at most is ard 4ltr.. so no matter wat u still hafta visit the petrol station quite often.. but think about it... da mileage is much more worth it... some more petrol in s'pore so expensive... wave n other 4 stroke kup kia's are ideal for s'pore priced petrols... hehehe :cheeky:

however... riding on SP/RR... is more thrilling... u dun need to go fast... juz da initial pick up is fun already... personally i ride my RR more often.. only wen i think i can chill n wont need to rush den i wud use my innova... its more of a weekend bike 4 me.. coz i move ard more mah... wkdays i go work muz take RR.. so i wont b late wen it needs b...

plus.. if ure not used to wave's gear system, it can b dangerous... dropping gear on a wave will cause the bike to jerk strongly.. n not having a clutch really can cause lots of problems for 1st timers...

juz my 2 cents worth... :goodluck:

hey guys sorry bout the jb trip just now. the queue was indeed considerably short when we got there, that was why we were able to get to caltex so quickly. we did waste a lot of time at the money changer too. didn't expect the traffic condition to deteriorate so badly. when we were on our way back we saw kelvin in a red polo tee at mobil with stanley behind him in a white shirt. i called jeff but the reception was poor. can't hear sh*t. waved like mad at u guys but didn't catch your attention. ..

Aiya... Jonse, u not don like u lah. U always thinking we don like u, u so cute how come we don like u... :slapforehead:

I nvr online few days here like hav many problem liao. Haiz... :nono:

1st: We all come this forum is wan knew more frds & know more thing wat the bike u are riding. We don wan to get troble, fighting, racing & bad market for this forum. We like to gathering SP riders to enjoy, chit chat, sharing experience for bike & knew new frds.

2nd: Jonse we not don like u, some times we try to tell u pls ride safety on road wif our outing. We tell u is for u & other ppl safety. If suai suai hav any problem we oso not feel very happy. Cos we wan happy gathering outing, not the bad & sad outing. Which younger rider nvr racing & open max throtte for top speed? I know u like speed, me & my bike oso like speed & cornering. Some times i oso speeding & top speed cornering in S'pore & M'sia. Some time my bike oso complain me y my speed so slow? I say we must care other ppl safety. We got problem nvr mind, but try don made other ppl troble.Haha... abit funny right? This wat the pointer we try to say. We oso agree & arrange the outing to Pasir Gudang. Who interested to try u top speed or skill can go down to try, that place hav to sign contract to agree if any accident is all u fault only, don try to blame other ppl. I'm the 1 will go down to try, there is more safety wif our normal road. So pls try to ride safety for our next outing, we are welcome u & other rider to join our outing. Ok? :thumb:

Best regards,

Economical wise, yes. Maintenance of wave is definitely cheaper than SP. Not to mention the low fuel consumption, and the convenience of a box.

But you have to bear in mind, wave is clutch-less and with reverse gears.

And lastly... No matter how cheap or convenient, a cupkia is nothing like a SP.

yeah i learnt a huuge lesson yesterday. anyways the flyover had riders waiting below as usual but i didn't dare risk waiting after what happened to you-know-who.

we should meet up in a convenient location the next time. i can't ride all the way to sun plaza and expect to make it pass customs when i'm nearly hitting reserve. i'll be making a really big detour from the straight route that i take to customs. it was a last minute trip and not much planning could be carried out. i like planned outings that are more predictable but then again, not everyone is as free as i am

Let's make it a point to meet in sg or meet inside jb next time. I had enuff of those bas***d malays in the queue.

I ain't forgetting the bugger dat day...shld pray not to let me spot him again in sg...lol

Anyway...in future for those peepz who want to go in and pump onli and go back sg den next time go yrself...normally we will rnr and makan inside. Abit pointless to go in queue and wait and waste time and smell 2t just to pump and come out.
