i pass alrdy with thicker jeans, but instructor said he was lenient with me.

next lesson is bumpy course.. how does bumpy course works?

The instructor would teach you; though the thing would be to be stable, and don't jam brakes after every hump, coz it makes your bike wobble.

Just go with the flow, after your first try @ the bumpy course, you might get to like it. :)

Rev a'lil every hump, just not too fast, control your speed.

Road hogger @ 50km/h on 4th lane

A bike can go up till 200km/h, can the rider go up till 200km/h o_O

maybe a simple solution to this is not to take the bikes that were just used in the previous lesson(s)....I never had heat problems in Class 2A or 2...maybe I too fat..:dozed:

I did my lessons in BBDC...not sure if the process is the same in other centres....when going out to get the bikes...just feel the tank and see its hot....some people like to take certain bikes because they are used to the clutch or whatever....but if that bike has been running earlier....confirm tank hot engine hot one mah....:cheeky:

To be old and wise, you must first be young and foolish.

What are the odds of having two punctures, on the same tyre, on separate occasions, in a 223km ride?:dozed:

I did my class 2a at bbdc and 2 at ssdc couple of yrs back.. I would say if you complain about revo being hot and clutch very hard to use, then I must advice that you either get used to it or do not upgrade, no offence, but thats how big bikes are like, if you ever take note, during traffic jams, those riders in big cc bikes like haya or R1 and even super 4 all perspire like free... these bikes have got 4 cylinder unlike small bikes and it really gets heated up so fast and easily, especially in the day...

clutch wise, you really cannot expect these bikes have loose clutch or a not so much tension clutch, like what the others say, if you find the bike have got very far clutch, then you can only look for another one with better clutch and for your info, cb750, the bike both ssdc and bbdc uses for class 2, if they have not change is even worst then S4 like what @HimQQ mention, they uses hydraulic clutch which is hard to press as compared to S4 which uses the conventional cable clutch...

really... good luck for your practical lessons, I also had problems at first with pylon the first time I was on a S4, the space don't seem enough for the big bike to go through it just need time to perfect it.. I am sure you would be better...

enjoy your lessons and also enjoy riding, do not detest such things, it is the norms you ll face on the road next time with your own class 2a/2 bike.

its been so long...

In everything we learn, we are bound to face difficulties. So long as we don't quit, you will get to your destination! :thumb:

After owning a Super 4 Spec 3 before, I know that the bike is very hot. It runs a lot hotter than my FZ6. I had to flush coolant on the Super 4 quite often to keep the bike temp lower. I wouldn't expect driving centres to care two hoots about this. What you can do to make your lesson more bearable is to wear a thicker jeans like I did.

Hee... I still remember my very first HILARIOUS 2A lesson. After riding Phantom 200 for too long, I got used to the low positioning of the gear shift lever. So when I sat on the Super 4, I was going gear 1 for two rounds the circuit. Why? I couldn't find the gear lever. After that, the instructor darted his eyes at me and asked me what I was trying to do. I just laughed and replied, "HA HA HA! Just playing with the bike!"

Of course, it took me a while to get used to doing bumpy course. The clutch control is key to achieving success in this sector.

You will get the hang of it and you must because when you get to Class 2, the CB750 clutch are hydraulics, not cable anymore. That means it will be harder to control http://www.runemasterstudios.com/graemlins/images/cheers.gif
