The 800cc has a few distinct advantage compared to the 900cc.

 

Smaller package and lighter.

 

Faster corner enterance speed, later braking, quicker acceleration once they reach the apex of the corner exit.

 

In short , lesser struggling between man and machine!

 

But the most important would be the tractable power without the sudden over power to the rear versa the older bike which has a tractable power but too much power during transition at turns.

 

The only thing would be the straight where the older bike was better.

 

This yr MotoGp would be exciting especially in the wet and dry corner overtaking. It will allow the more skillful rider to show where his talents are, both in corner overtaking and lower lap time in the wet.

 

Tires will be extremely crucial and if the other tire manufactue get it right, they might even beat the long standing tire king Michelin in this road race!

i think they should break the 2min barrier this year at sepang, just like how we struggle to break the 2min at pg

Spiderman,

 

Since u also race in Sepang, hope u can update the laptimes of the rest of our local guys.. I would do it if i know where to see it from.. Im sure there is many others timing not there.. Its good for our easy reference.. Lets just focus on local boys only.. We all knoe the japanese or others are more pro and faster guys.. Thks Spiderman..
