Hi all, juz wondering what r the possiblities dat could affect ur fc coz mine was quite bad riding spec 2. done carb servicing in feb at first milage was 315km b4 reserve now can only reach to 290km. My bike no mod except knn filter only so pls kindly help wat need to be done? wat is the usual idling for spec 2?

changed new clutch friction plates and iridium ngk sparkplugs.. my consumption is lesser. from 20-21KM/L to 23.7KM/L... it's worth a trip for a day from home -> office -> home.

Spec 3 how to know wen go reserve?

 

if strart bike the fuel gauge blnks from left to right,then riding the bar stop at 1.means reserve or havent?

cos when u start the bike, ur fuel tank is slanted. after u ride off a while, the bar on the guage shows 1 meaning it haven reach reserve. only when the bar are blnking from left to right, your tank is on the 3l reserve. auto one dude.

Ver s is known to be slightly fuel economy than the vtec. But i notice ver s tyres

r smaller than those of vtec.Maybe this could be a factor towards better milage.Wat if vtecs use tyre size of ver s..do u guys think vtec can get better milage??

Hi guys...need ur commends here,i jus got a REVO last week n my first pump til full tank is abt $38+(v-power)bike is still stock n running in constant speed abt 80-90km/h..d qns is my FG starts blinkin at ard 285km onli..n i find dats fast wat i noe s4 suppose to reach abt 300+km rite...or is it due to a new engine make fc higher or is it due to v-power petrol or is it due to d way i ride???

Bro... are u riding R1 or R6 before u get ur revo? If yes, moz prob will be the way u ride... u will confirm find that 'eh, why so slow ar?' then u open more throttle, more petrol....

Yup i rode R1 b4 my REVO..mayb wat u say might b true "eh y so slow ah" but the thing is trottle response between class 2 n 2a bikes r diff i might say dat my REVO response is slower den R1..4 R1 u can reali feel d power wen u open trottle so dats y petrol goes lyk drinking water...hmmm btw i dnt really push d bike so much coz still new still running in so abit scare 2 whack d machine...jus normal ridin...bt sumtime gt try abitlah...or is it bcz of v-power??? anymore commends guyzzz...

hmm just curious about the rpm. my spec 3 reaches 6.5k(ast gear) when i'm travelling at 100km/hr. was wondering is it the same as other spec 3. because 6.5k is like opening the vtec already which will take in more petrol consumption. but i heard some people s4 6.5k and below can reach 100km/hr. is it normal for my bike? thanks

you are just wasting cash pumping that. 95 is more than sufficient.

mine 6th gear about rmp6.3k speed 100km/h, about rmp7.0k speed 110km/h and above vtec will on..

hmm but i thought vtec on at 6.5k or 6.75k (last gear) for spec 3? i'm still not sure about the timing for the vtec as i just bought the bike not long.

for mine spec3 1st to 5th gear vtec on 6.3k onwards and 6th gear 7k onwards.. think every1 will not b the same might hv little bit vary.. not to worry.. install a vtec indicator light to notice when ur vtec on..

recently i installed a 42l box for convenience but the fuel consumption now is only 260+km n i hit reserve. its like barely 18km/l

normal? oh ya my bike is fitted with yoshi pipe as well.

does the box affect the fuel consumption by so much?

or do i have to go check on whether there is other prob with my bike?

Bro i dun tink its r box that causes e increases in FC unless u put lotsa gold bars in yr box that makes it very heavy..

So far my FC only increases when my chains are not properly tightened or tyre pressure not enuff..

maybe can check on that? my 2 cents worth..

juz change a new set of chain. and now my vtec1 can reach 340km before reserve.
