heard most gpr user can hit 20-21km/l

 

i got add e save petrol magnet and power abuser .....

 

urs wif gpr, mine fully stock onli 19per litre.. slow rider, seldom on vtec onl manage to get this ..haizz

u got revtec? i installed revtec using stock i got good FC. im gg to install GPR soon i believe.. v soon liao im gg to terrorise e streets w my bike..

i also sian half... but haven try washing carb n air filter.. jus changed tyre, one time change this n that wil die...LOL...my ex spec 1 wif dyno same riding style can fetch me 22km/l..

haha.. guess u n edwardthy is refering to my previous post, but i guess he miss out the word "ex" .. meaning my old s4 can fetch 22km/l, the one i riding now is diff version..

just changed k&N filter, $130 package with engine ice from unique. OWS engine oil and 1/4 bottle X1R....managed to clock 340km before reserve. Smooth gear shifting.

walauweh ur mileage so good la.. mine sux big time..

 

i think its because of ur LV pipe. Cause my fren using LV he took out the silencer..changed to bigger jet..installed 4-1 stainless steel headers..clocked like 280-290km before reserve i think.

 

btw K&N filter really did improved my mid range. can feel the difference from 100-150km/h.

280-290km before reserve for full system still considered very good leh.. your friend change gear before 4k rpm is it..

LOL!...go change to 95 and change gear above 5.5 to 8.5k rpm for your next full tank and see how. My coming 13 yrs bike is doing 320 - 340 km.

yes ure correct. sometimes he will skip the 2nd gear and went straight to 3rd gear after rpm 5 during pickup.

Hi,

There is a gadget beneath this fuel tank to control the fuel flowing, may I call it fuel valve. Unlike other SPEC, it has no controlling lever to regulate the fuel flowing out.

For SPEC 3, the valve will only open to release fuel when engine is started. You can notice it when mechanic remove fuel tank, and there is no fuel coming out from it. However, if the valve is faulty, fuel will flow out. Accordingly to the mechanic, it has to be replaced, becos when bike is parked, fuel continues to flow in, and will cause problem to the engine if the fuel system has problem. Basically is such, for more details, pls check it out.

Yep..once awhile ago,almost all the 06model spec3 got recalled back due to defect in the diapghram(spelling) that is use to regulate flow of fuel once the engine have started.

So if u wanna find out if its faulty u juz have to remove ur tank and c if fuel leaks out right??
