wat is the difference between ET and LX? i can see that the side mirrors are different.

went for a ride. it's superb!

 

belgarathc, my darling is without a side stand.

i'm much better today, i managed to get it off the main stand with less effort.

I have some question on Vespa.

 

I just saw 2 Vespa GT200 for sales and I'm thinking of buying one of them.

 

1. Vespa GT200 (Midnight Blue)

Year of register: 2006

Mileage: 50000+

Asking Price: $4500

 

2. Vespa GT200 (Light Green)

Year of register: 2003

Mileage: 56000+

Asking Price: $2900

 

Do you guys think the price is ok?

 

Also, if I really buy one of them, what do I need to change?

Hi, when I collected my Vespa LX 150 from Lian Chin Heng on the 19th of Nov 2009, I was not given a warranty booklet. The dealer told me that it is already registered with Piaggio itself. However, I was told to go for servicing at their Woodlands workshop. I thought I'm supposed to go to Piaggio Service Centre for servicing? I was told that my Vespa will be under warranty for 2 years by Piaggio. Help please?

I think warranty is different from servicing. Unless they say Piaggio give free servicing for 1 year than you go back to piaggio for servicing.

 

from what I understand, Warranty cover factory defect, not wear and tear. So servicing is from your own pocket.

 

Maybe others can give you a clearer picture.

Maybe you can take note of all the complaints on your scoot for their warranty rectification.

 

I've changed all the locks on my Vespa before, i.e., ignition lock, seat lock, luggage compartment lock, rearbox lock. But you have to decided to choose between a single key for all the locks; or many different keys for each lock.

LX's hp is higher.

LX's front wheel is 1" bigger.

the new LXie uses EFI, while old LX & ET8 runs on CDI.

LX has a "boxy" outlook, while ET has a "rounder" outlook.

Convenient to PM me if there's a M'sia ride for scoots? So far my PX has gone to Batu Pahat, Tanjong Leman and JB. I also ride my other bikes up Malaysia every 3 weeks or so. But I want to bring up my SC.
