Thanks guys for coming today. :) Transfer in progress and did some minor maintenance. The bike will be towed to my carpark probably in the evening at $20. ^^

But i'm surprised by the insurance.. damn ex.. !

Congrats bro and welcome to the gang! Though I wasn't there, but I think it's a good buy, since the pros were there to test and certified the bike! So when you getting your license?

P/S: - Infact I did helped! "Rain-dance" to hold for clear sky!!! Kekeke....

First project for you is wash the bike. Get to know the condition and feel of various parts, get some car shampoo and chrome polish :D

Run the engine for about 5 minutes after that to let the critical components dry off.

Ahh, insurance, it will be pretty steep initially, but will be only about $350 or less at my age.

You're the PK strategic weapon lol

With you around, Singapore doesn't need nuclear weapons to defend herself :D

haha yeah. Not tempted la.. i dont want to mess ard with the law later end up my class 3 also gone. GG. haha..

Will probably wash the bike next week. Also need to de-rust some areas.. Overall satisfying condition. :)

It's the engine and chassis that matters in the end, and both are in superb condition.

You can tell if an engine hasn't been taken up to redline or overheated before. The cylinder was just very dry when we first started it, but performed flawlessly when warmed and ridden.

oh ya.. haha. I sent the seller back to tpy since it's kinda along the way and somehow, i missed my CTE exit so ended up gg back by Thomson road. lol

A sacred ground that takes very long to reach bike shops and such to custom our ride xD

We need an outing so we can see each others ride and find inspiration LOLS

Adventure.

Can use the massive PK gathering on Sat as inspiration. Must recruit woodlanders.

There are bike shops in the north but omg I refuse to buy anything from them. Prices at Ubi for motor oil for instance, are like, half from Woodlands price.

Are only referring to a particular EO from a particular shop?

Surely that's a sweeping statement that can't be true for all EO's at all Northern bike shops.

I think it's not just EO. Even basic maintainence and repairs cost so much more compared to those at ubi.

'Cause I was once a "robert" =X

It's like paying for convenience, shopping at those Fairprice @ Esso things. The prices are so horribly high I'd rather go to the proper supermarket 1km away.

Although, in this case the land of the elves can be 20+km road distance to better shops so if don't want to get a tow, I'll send it in to the shop at Woodlands Industrial Park. The service is of above average quality but since they have very little business, prepare to be carroted!

Not considering the Choa Chu Kang / Kranji shops which are a bit risky.
