I'm 1.65m wt ~50kg

 

Front - Soften spring preload 2 lines more showing on indicator. Compression/Rebound not adjust....yet

Rear - Lower Preload by 1 notch

 

After that, ride is less bumpy. Even with my pillion at about 50kg, rear will feel a LITTLE bit soft but not that bad

 

Hope that can give you a rough gauge...

 

hi guys... talkin abt suspensions n forks is making me curious. My height is 1.65m wt is 59kg n my wifey weighs abt 48kg. Is there any adjustments tat i shud make to both suspension & forks to get a better n more comfortable riding posture coz the stock condition feels abit too hard?

Mine is the faired 1. It cost me 18.8 otr. most ppl said tat the naked 1 is cheaper .

no lah....i sold my 05 R1 coz i wreck it at an accident, then at 06 i buy a brand new k6, after ridet it for 4 months, i realize this is not my bike, i cant IN to the bike....then sold it and get an 08 R1....

i wont change my 08 R1 to another bike....

i need another bike for long haul, 2-3 times a year i always do 1000ish km riding....i live in indonesia, not in sing, so many island and so many route we can ride here...and ride an R1 for long haul is not an enjoy thing...

for now. i have another bike, an 2007 HD Ultra Classic for do long haul, but i often found my self boring when on my big Ultra....need a smaller long hauler bike.......several alternative on my brain now, 08 FZ1 or CB1000R or B King.....????

no big bike dealer here...except harley, ducati and KTM........

so every non HD big bike is bought from overseas (90% from sing), imported into indo.....

for example, i bought my brand new 07 Ultra is SGD $ 60,600 on the road/street legal.....my 08 R1 is 21,200 (off the road), circuit use only, street illegal.....Street legal 08 R1 will be about $42,000....coz license, plate, import tax, custom etc will be about 200-250% from bike price...

Almost all brands have fully and semi EO's. I use fully for bikes less than 5yrs old and switch to semi after that.

 

Erm not sure abt ur other question. 15w50 is a grade and 300V is product. Do u mean maxima extra 15w50 vs motul 300v 15w50?

 

Price diff is abt $7 per ltr, motul being more ex. However motul stays smoother for longer. Which EO to use depends entirely on your preference.

the three main groups here are darksiders, brightsiders and the darkestsiders

 

of late you will only find the brightsiders and darkestsiders most active and the darksiders totally in the shadows,,,
