me back me back, from a 3 day solo ride...

 

so what we talking now? GPS? ya you need those when you are riding alone up north..at least lost still know where you lost..

 

btw, i m using garmin 60cx series

i jus tested out my GPS in my N86 last sat at JB from some "HL" road to JB town New York Hotel and it's looks good...

mounted it on my RAM mount and i'm able to receive clear instructions from my cardo too...

 

looks like i need not buy a GPS unit liao...

but i better check out my 3G/GPRS charges before using it again for tourings... hahaha...

i also use my phone gps functions.. but i might need a bigger ram mount aqua box (mini MO any1).. and, any1 wants to buy my small aqua box..

7RM and my bike is clean and nice... Sunday i jus spent 30mins to do waxing will do...

hey guys just enquire does anyone knows what could be at fault if my HDB carpark Barrier doesnt detect my IU? I tried to insert cashcard its working fine leh, but come to the gantry cannot detect. I mount it on top handlebar leh should be very detectable already right? Seems weird, go in also cannot, come out also cannot detect. Any advise?

either ur cashcard spoilt or ur IU.. I kena before..cashcard fail, sumtimes can, sumtimes cannot.den totally failed.lucky left $2 sumthing only.. try get new card see if dat works, if cannot den ur IU fail, go get tested. Or wait u go through gantry den get letter go inspection.

Its a bit on the high side . My colleague juz bought a preowned 09 FZ6 for $16.5k. Market price should be arnd there.

changed the batt liao.. but my coil and relay are still good.. maybe the rectifier is giving me the problem...

Bike production gave me the best quote ever.. their price is damn good and i think i should be getting a fz6s2 really really soon!!!

 

If everything goes well, by the end of the month, i will join u guys at ur weekly LKS session!

 

Anyway, for fz6, how much will the side rack and main rack cost together with box? asphoon quoted me 1.6k.. my jaw nearly drop..

 

Where can i get the racks at a cheaper price or is that the cheapest?

you can try M teknic at paya ubi industrial park nearest to HDB blocks . located at the highest floor last unit. can get better bargain.

any1 here changed their fz6 fork to r6 fork? or changed their front fork springs to aftermarket ones? considering traxxion, hyperpro, or ohlins..

R6 fork? You will need to change the triple clamps,steering cone,handlebar clamps,R6 front wheel,R6 wheel bushing,R6 axle,R6 front fender,R6 brake disks,R6 radial brake calipers. Lots of work but the end result is nice.

 

Upgrading of fork springs + valving will be more cost efficient.

 

My previous FZ1N converted to 06 R1 fork and radial brake calipers,luckily i could use back my wheel,fender and keep my triple clamps.Direct swop.

but budget wise would be fork spring & revalving....

mine nw is using hyperpro combi kit...

Front fork spring & Rear Susp Spring....

$460 with install at motoworld....(but strongly rec to go for a proper 'adjustment' aft tat)

Hi guys.. In need of little help or any idea what's wrong.. As I was riding just now, everything was smooth until suddenly the bike when stuttering and misfiring.. I thought one of the vacuum pipe got plug off.. But when I check underneath the tank everything was ok.. What could be wrong..? The stuttering is quite bad and irritating.. I cant travel at low rpm, must go about 100km/h at least to get the smoothness in..

Do a check on ur plug coil...total 4 pcs.. 1 of them might be gone..
