Overall good looks for the FZ8 ,but sadly still no RAM air technology for the Fazer :-( Unless the new side are the RAM air intakes:-)

It is built ard the current FZ1 frame work... the engine looks alike...

 

I dun really like the current FZ1's tail light, abit too small. At least make it slightly sharper or sportier.

 

 

Wait wait wait.. dann This is a FZ1 with some tweaking on the head cowl and tail light.... exhaust changed too.... foot peg also same as FZ1... is this a Photoshopeped picture?

Overall, I say I kinda like the looks.

 

The FZ6's nose has always been sharper.... but I hate that ugly tail lights.

The FZ1 looks good everywhere, but the front end is more blocky than the R1 or FZ6.

 

This looks like a good compromise in looks.

 

 

A pity that it only has a weak ass 800cc engine pumping out 120HP.

taking a closer, the 'belly pan' seems like 2 panel fixing together. rather than one whole piece... but its good. wun collect stones n stuffs from the road..

so i assume that it defeat the purposes of a belly pan to protect the headers,it's more to create a cosmetic effect on that area thou.

Bro Bengz. The box you are using is what make? No worry abt the water sippage, call me if you need solution. And if we tackle the right problem you will be happy ever....even if it sipping even at night...throughout the nite. I pass will the solution (real solution , nothing cheeky).

Bellypan is only for cosmetic... not practical usage. It will nvr protect anything for itself also cannot save itself..... Maybe, i say maybe, it help to force channel a little air to cool your boiling FZ engine...

btw, do check if there are early settlement charges. i know ASP dun have early settlement charges..

BP have no "early settlement" charges but u cant transfer ur bike till end of the loan period.

 

ie. u take a loan of 3 yrs and after paying for 2 yrs, u strike toto and wanna pay full. no early settlement charges there. but should u wanna transfer ur bike, there is a payment of dunno how much. unless u buy a bike from their shop, or take a loan for a bike.

 

dat was wad i was told when i tried to early settle my bike with only 3 mths left. but then i managed to secure another loan with them for my new bike (private seller) so the "settlement fee" was waived.

Yup, you heard that right. They have a faired version of it too.

I have the pics of the head fairing in my email.

I saw MCN comment that it should be out before mid year. Seems like they have finalize the look of the bike.

 

dont waste time...just get the FZ1 since FZ6 is no more in production....

didnt hear of fz6 2010 series.. cos they are coming out with fz8..

 

price for fz6s2 is about 15k+-.. n series i not sure..

xj6 should be the diversion6? full fairing bike.. less power than fz6.. single headlight (yucks) sorry no offense.

super4 revo? for the price i rather get fz6s2..

Yup. Yamaha site just confirmed it. It's official, that's how the bike looks.

The frame, swingarm, fork, tank, all looks like it was taken directly off the FZ1. It will probably handle like and FZ1. But then I think this one may come with a 180 rear tyre, not a 190.

 

The diff is the head fairing. I'm guessing that the meter cluster will be the same too, in the interest of cost savings. They might have decided to save $$ instead of redesigning something that ain't broke. Even the S2 dropped the G-Shock meter of the FZ6 in favor of something similar to the FZ1's.

Fazer6 for now you can only grab 09 model or earlier. If you visit the Yamaha UK site you would see that Fazer6 has been removed. They be replace by XJ-6 (Diversion) *optional faired version too.

Gonna miss the under seat exhaust.

 

SF Revo, many stated that its a pricey piece of 400cc what makes ya happy might be the road tax and insurance lots of accessories to play with and reliability!

there's this v nice looking handlebar switch that looks like a engine kill switch...

i got 1 now that on both my headlights together with the help of a bypass wire for fz6 that have solo eyes...

but i intend to add another one which will have the same function like what you said...

but now no stock, estimated to reach by end of jan...

anyway the honda kill switch is the very common red 'up down' button encased in black plastic lor.. i wanted to get from my regular bikeshop also but he no more spare ones..
