That is for Gen 2. 36 PSI for front and 42 PSI for rear tires.

Depends on the box and rack you want to put up. Cost differs from the brands.

haha my friend asked me to try fast throttle....improve response by a bit bit....ya maybe still running in tats why throttle a bit tight and consumption is terrible!!lol n heard 2010 ecu remapped made the fc even worst..

sian my cbr gives me 19-20km/l ...

 

The FC is not that bad for me. I'm getting 15-16km per litre of petrol. Enjoy the ride. Worry less. =D

Average FC for FZ1 is about 14 to 17km per litre of petrol. For me, change gear at 4k rpm and still using stock exhaust with airbox mod,BMC air filter,de-cat & opened exup valves, can get 16.2km.

With aftermarket exhaust, no idea about FC.

FZ1 has very tall gearing for more top speed. So low end below 3k rpm, like no power. Try to change to OEM gen 1 Fazer1000 16t front sprocket for more low end power.

 

What do you mean by open exup valve? Disable and keep it open by messing with the cables?

If we believe the manufacturer's advert, the the exup valve should help with the low end, although I've read that the valve operation is quite complicated, i.e. open throttle, valve not neccessarily open, depends on speed, rpm, etc.

 

Anyone tried disabling and feeling a diff? Or those who have changed to slip on (without PC tuning), do you feel the low end getting worse? Not looking at top end, just the low end, part throttle operation.

its 3.6L for fz1 gen2... weird... your FC is so good? mine is between 12 - 15.5 km/L...

anyway, yes it's F up... i rem there was once i reached sg. perak petrol station and i jus hit reserved tank, i wanted to pump but they don't let me! cus their petrol is only 95! in the end i had to ride over to the next visible petrol station for roughly 50km! my heart is pumping faster than my bike!
