never tried my akra w/o silencer, sorry no comments...

like you, mine is out since day 1...

i've tried going at 261km/hr w calibrated speedo w/o damper...

after 250km/hr, it's pretty shaky already...

till now, yet to try w damper... max only 240+km/hr...

anyway, i'm using GPR rotary damper...

cheers!

how much is the GPR rotary damper?

Hi guys, has anyone experience a high fuel consumption after valve clearance, my friend Fz6n bike fuel consumption reduced from 21 per liter to 16 per liter. Hope there someone could give some advice. Thanks

after valve clearance, throttle shoik shoik so just throttle. n fc goes up. that is wat happened all the time. by right, performance n fc shd b better after valve clearance.

is there a big diff for the newer akra slip-on with or without silencer??

cos i haven go inspection n i took out the silencer right after i install...haha

the silencer can see thru n only reduce the diameter of the tip...

sorry for asking cos i remove the silencers for every pipe i change unless don have...

2bros $900 i still cant bear to spend tat $$$...

n also any fz bros using top-mount dampers?

heard handling not stable at 200++km/h n i used t ride CBR1k so abit too used to damper..

so far only heard ohlins n hyperpro dampers...

no silencer... i think i might just drop something into the akra someday. hehe...

how often do u ride constant at 200km/h? even at 200+km/h, a properly set suspension setting will compensate with the wobbling feeling.

just curious, since u had modded so much for ur bike on performance, did u do anything to ur suspension settings for front n back? or rather, did u touch on handling department?

steering damper is to counter the horizontal movements on the steerings, front and rear suspensions to counter the movements on the verticals axis, bumps from the road, etc..

there's no way a properly vertical settings can compensate movements on the horizontal axis.

hohoho...

200km/hr ah? once a week or once every two weeks...

i've no issues with suspensions as of now nor any handling issues with or without my top box & side panniers at that speed... no worries...

btw, i did tune up my stock suspensions to suit my needs... yet to change to aftermarkets till the day i feel that there is a need for that...

jus ride more... worry less... :)

St angel is the successor to the diablo strada

this line of tyres is classified as endurance tyres

meaning they last much longer than the normal tyres

i had read pretty good reviews on both st angel and strada on both dry and wet weather

planning to change to either of them for my next tyre change... or the bt-016 :D

u need to be young and reckless to become old and wise..... if u survive
