corbin is said to be hard initially... u got to seasoned it before u will start to feel comfortable... it will be good on a later stage...

sargent takes your butt contour & get to be seasoned very soon... it feels good after sitting on a seat that has ur butt curves...

top sellerie is very comfortable... cus it has memory foam in it... u wun need much time to get it seasoned...

juzzwheels, forget about it...

eugene, dragonforce had commented...

:)

Top sellerie seats looks plush from the pics as compared to sargent and corbin...

looks good... which web u bought it from?

i thinking to get a replacement gloves for local & JB riding...

btw, no go for kangaroo material? it's damm comfortable... :D

Hi guys

Got some prob with my brake lights. Doesn't light up when I depress my front and rear brakes. Any idea what could be the prob?

after you tried sargent, you wont want to go for corbin. heard corbin is for pple with 'cushiony' butts. only problem with local stores rewrap is that you have to leave the seat there for some time, esp eugene. his work is good but wait for very long, ie you cant ride your bike unless you have spare seat. otherwise i think rewrap is a more economical solution.

Guys I am considering to upgrade both seats. I am not sure as to get from Corbin, Sargent, Top Sellerie or go to local stores like Juzzwheel or Eugene Saddlery. Any input is greatly appreciated!

I think i got post b4. But here goes.

From Eugene. Cost abt 120 bucks iirc which includes wrapping of rider and pillion seat and replacement of foam/cushion for a "close to corbin/sargent seat feeling" for the rider seat.Worth it in my humble opinion at a fraction of the cost of a true blue Corbin/Sargent saddle. Downside as dragonforce mentioned, u gotta wait. and it really is gonna take a while. coz he don't have spare seat for the fz1. Fastest is a day.I left the bike there in the morning, went for a lunch and movie nearby b4 it was ready for collection. Provided u make an appointment in advance. :)

Hmm mixed views on Eugene Saddlery, read Charles previous experience and I don't know whether to take a risk to face a similar ordeal.

i dont think there's a doubt about his work? major problem is waiting time.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
