I thought of delay insurance method. Explanation is for renewal, there is a 3 mth validity period. Meaning e quote will be valid 3 mths after expiry. Eg: if offered 712 3 mth later will still be 712. But didnt think of "wat if get quite from other insurance.

 

For cancel and renew again right away, there is e problem of cancelation admin fee which is 25% of e premium. Maybe i should call e direct ntuc agent c if can assist in this.

 

Any other suggestions?

Contemplating to use Motul 300V or CHEX9000.

For me is anywhere in sg, make a phone call. then 1 working day just go "one motoring" renew road tax. On e bed also can do.

hi,

 

i have a problem with my fazer 600. the problem is intermittent.

 

when i turn the key, the display refuse to turn on but i can hear the bike starting up as per normal. But when i crank the bike at Neutral, the display will fire up. I have no way to force this situation to reproduce at will, but i'm hoping there's nothing wrong w the system. It does not matter which gear because then i turn the key it should light up, but i can don't crank.

Ok finally sorted it out. Found out direct ntuc was $600 on mon. Got the answer on thurs. 4 working days not too bad considering the only things i did was the online quote and forwarding the email to my agent.

 

Reason is i bought the insurance 2 days before my bday... So after my bday, i am 31 yr old and belong to the next age group. ._. crap... Check with my agent le no loophole to abuse. becoz if cancel insurance now = 25% pro-rated premium as admin fee.

 

If u buy from yr agent, is it lower than $600? Or same price as buying direct from NTUC?

From agent buy NTUC was done before my bday and was 712. My agent has acknowledged price difference thus if assuming can renew right away agent will sell me 600. According to my agent, they dun earn any commission. Their profits come from the "marketing fees" paid by the actual insurance company which in this case is ntuc.

 

I will try call the direct sales later to explain my situation, ask if they r able to assist me. If can then i tell my agent next year then i buy from agent again. This yr ve to direct. ^^

herm.. bro no.. sry... is on fz6s2 07... coz my front fork current is stock.. and too soft... was tink of changing the spring but commented from bikelab, " All spring are the same, need to get the emulator in the fork. " so... asking for reviews.... haha... syr miscommunication..

 

i got a frn who used to have a fz6 that has traxxion rear shocks with r6s front forks.. few of the folks know him as well.. hahaha.. anyway, his review of the shocks r good fyi..

 

nevertheless, i feel that sometimes bikelab could be craps at times.. they sometimes anytime give comments one.. springs r not the same.. diff springs have diff spring rate blah blah blah.. u go ask them, they ask u to get the emulator.. i got another frn who went to them becus his front fork is unusually hard, i recommend him go change fork oil first then try again, he go bikelab, they tell them it's like that one, else jus change the springs.. craps one lo.. maybe they see customer one lo..

sounds like a electrical connection issue to me, try to check the connections all the way from the meter display connection till ur ecu.. u can try tracing starting the connector from the back of ur meter display onwards..

 

btw, which year bike? S or N version?

Yuh Yuh, not the technical type or always window shop type. So not very good with pricing. Usually if price sounds ok and the shop impression is ok, will take without researching too much. Got me into so much trouble and yet still haven't learn the lesson well. =X

 

Btw now i am looking for a Anti Fog solution. Considering "Fog City Pro Shield Insert". Currently seems like only option is online purchase. Moto World say no ve...

 

Any recommendations?

Tonight i show u my problem... Now using mouth breathing guard so not tat bad... I prefer ride with visor close fully but now only can with the breathing guard. But i wish to remove the guard then can more comfy.

 

As for the products, i ve found a few tat looks good. With many positive reviews. But mostly not found in sg.

1) Fog City Pro Shield Insert (17 ~ 19 should be USD)

2) Clarity Defog It (8++ should be USD)

 

I called up motoworld, actually they ve. But the item is specified for Shoei... lol. I said my helmet is HJC tat's y they say dun ve. So later i go c c compare. Then buy online.
