Are u switching from panniers to topcase? Saw yr sales thread on H&B panniers. Any advice for someone who is still undecided abt installing either panniers or topcase for fz1? I doing mostly city riding.

that one i sure do before i confirm the purchase la.

UM told me i still need the top rack even if i don't want to use a top box.....true boh?

u know la, i very de virgin one...newbie mah..so must ask the lao jiao box wan...

hmmm.. i duno y they say that to u.. special rack or?

anyway, side rack is side rack, top rack is top rack.. unless u have the intention of getting a top box in future, then u can consider getting the side rack + top rack or side rack that is expandable with top rack.. nevertheless, side rack & top rack r usually sold separately..

hope it does sounds too confusing.. hahaha.. :D

Yup. The reservoir is under the seat on the right (a white plastic container). You should drain all the old coolant and ideally flush the whole thing out (radiator, reservoir, hoses) with tap water thoroughly before you put in the new coolant. But I've only done this myself once, so I'm probably not the right person to advise you on this...

Top box if u will travel during peak hr. Just imagine urself traveling ur daily routine route. Pannier can?

I just collected my bike today... It comes with kappa k33 panniers. I'll use them for time being, if i find panniers too cumbersome, then i'll sell them and install toprack.

Putting this bike on main stand is killing me. My whole body weight on the main stand already still not enough...Looks like must practice more... Today parking with panniers a bit squeezy, must park on main stand better.

There is a way to adjust the biting point of the clutch lever right? Just turn the bolt at the clutch lever? Cos my biting point is quite close to the fully clutched-in position.

Congrats!!!

For usin main stand is a technique. Try searching youtube. I also not zhai at first then after c e video become very easy.

A text explanation is make sure ur bike is straight, ur handlebar dun turn to e side. Then aline ur bike upright. Step down on e main stand unless both left and right point touching e ground. Left hand on handlebar, right hand on e pillon support, right feet on main stand, pull upwards or toward e rear of e bike in 1 action. if u need a lot of strength mean not optimized technique.

Congrats again for getting ur ride!!

Thanks for yr tips, it really works even before i view the video. Guess i forgot to pull towards the rear, i just pull upwards.

I just discovered my rider seat there's a plastic projection that supposed to insert into the seat holder...it's a bit damaged and cannot be inserted.

the old monokey metal plate. need to custom abit to be fitted together with hb rack and givi base plate.

i find the givi top rack too high and not so stable to fit a 52 liter box.

Eh ur pic is showing rider seat. Not rear. So ur problem is missing clip for rider seat? But i c e clip looks ok?

Might it be u "insert" e seat not "skill" enough. :) i also ve to insert rider seat a few times before get it. Pillon seat i put cloth so open often and use to it. But rider i not used so never manage to get it right 1st few times.

For ur side mirror, if stock type, u just need to use strength. But others ve advise me not to else over time will be loose. If u wan to "open/close" ur side mirror, can consider getting after market like rizomo? Got chiong type also. I think those easier to open/close.

Or just go jb during off peak. :)
