Hi guys! Im having a loose left side mirror. When hit bumps its shake up and down. When high speed shaky. How to tightened it back to stock setting?always close both mirrors if jam at checkpoint. Can anyone help me? Im heading north nxt wk. I opened up the left panel saw 2 screws bt dont think its loose. Anyone face the same problem as me and got it fixed? Thankiu

sounds like the internal joint had spoiled.. like what danielling1981 said, change is the only solution..

next time, dun close ur mirrors.. leave it open even at parking or jam or squeezing..

high chance is that internal has rusted and it "ate" into the internal joints...so the joints are not as tight fit as it was out from the factory

and mirrors mounts getting rusty is a damn common thing for fazers

oh yah....as much as you can...don keep turning the mirrors inwards...was advised by yamaha mechanics themselves lol

it will loosen the mirror mountings over time

Thanks guys for the help. Will get the bike check and see if any thing can be done.

Daniel: what i meant is the bad thing will be loose mirrors. If u read previous msg from the forumers they also mention abt the weakness of yamaha fazer

Gd mn bros...any recommendations or advise on which shop to go for chain and sprocket replacement for my Faz6?

I c the price range for an X-ring gold chain + sprocket + installn around 220 - 250? For normal work to home commute, is the price range ok or can get cheaper alternatives which can mayb last 1.5 years or so? Thanks :o)

by right, sw-motech should have it's own rack + base plate that fit the box.. but the ques that i think most or all of us are unsure is that the sw-motech base plates comes with the stop lights kit or not.. if no, is sw-motech rack compatible with givi base plate that has the stop lights kit or not.. this is the ques where only someone here do have the same setup as you mentioned can answer you or the dealer to answer u.. :)

Sw-motech does not have the base plate to do together with maxia light kit. Only some givi monokey base plate have the hole/slot for the light kit.

Today just fixed sw-motech toprack with monokey adapter plate. Yes, the adapter plate allows for the installation of the stoplight kit that comes with my Maxia box.

Oh ya, now Chiap Lee don't provide installation of the sw-motech rack. Only can cash and carry.
