Anybody encounter ignition press till cant start. But when ur turn throttle then can start?? Anyone pls help?

for FI bike with auto idle, there is no need to throttle. a few reasons affecting, meaning that you may have

1. dirty spark plugs,

2. clogged airfilter,

3. FI problem,

4. battery weak------> this may lead from starter coil + rectifier going bonkers (applicable for 3 years old bike onwards)

Hi Guys,

I am planning to get a FZ1N soon so I would like some advice on the following if possible:

1) Should I change the end can only or get a full system?

2) Has anyone reflashed your ECU or just purchased a PC instead?

3) Any recommended brand of air filter/pipes/sliders/etc.?

Sorry to ask these questions. Thank you so much bros!!

Juz found out my batt flat after exactly 3years. Any one know what the original brand for FZ6. Wanna DIY. Tired to push start the bike

Yuasa YT12B-BS

I bought from ahboy 2 months ago for $80 and diy. Quite easy if you have something to prop up the fuel tank.

Ahboy is still the cheapest, cos I asked at bt merah - $110 and planet - $95 (with installation of course).

Anyway ahboy was honest when I asked whether it was made in Japan. He said no, its from Taiwan.

The battery is running well..

+ 1. save space and headache too.

but not wallet friendly though=p

no one now can exactly tell how is the longevity of li-ion batteries.. so if it can last a few times of a normal lead acid battery, it proved it's worth towards the wallet portion.. :)

not to pull u down in anyway, but have u asked urself in the first place on ur needs of an end can or a full system and ur needs of a re-flashed ECU or an piggybacked PC?

end can gives u slightly more output with nice surround system while full system gives u best output but it only works well with an additional PC.. beware, full systems is not legal..

fyi if u have the best output but yucky input, it also feels like sh!t..

no one actually re-flashed stock ECU unless u r ready to fry ur own electrical system or u r ready to use & throw ur bike away after an intensive track race with rossi.. lol..

for air filters / pipes / sliders, it works the same for most aftermarket brands.. it depends on individual likings..

I suppose normal traveling while breaking the speed limit once in a while. I always had the assumption that some full systems were legal in Singapore. So with an end can, there is no need for a PC i suppose?

What kind of input are you talking about? I don't mod my bikes hence most of my info are all found online.

Thx pichudot!

hmmm.. if ya concern is only abt breaking the speed limit once in a while, u dun need any aftermarket performance product to do this.. cus i had tried hitting 261km/hr true speed 2nd day when i get my bike on stock.. no doubt tat aftermarket products gives u better performance but if ur balls can't bring u to tat level, it's deem useless even u have the best parts in the world or u have nitro fixed.. right? so ask urself, what u exactly need.. :)

so far as what i know, only Gianelli full system is legal for fz1.. but tat was 2+ years back when i start sourcing for a suitable exhaust for me, not sure as of now.. the rest of the brand, fix at ur own risk & prepare the $700 extra cash in ur bank for rainy weathers.. hahaha.. :D

input is mentioning playing with the air/fuel ratio.. it can be increasing ur air intake & adjust the fuel consumption to increase ur output.. there r many ways to increase ur air intake, try go US fz1 forum or fz1oa or google ard.. with optimal air intake, then u can add in a PC to adjust ur air/fuel ratio to get a better output.. output can be ur exhaust or set of wheels or sprockets etc..

my point is simple.. dun get a PC unless ur bike is ready for it.. else it's jus plain wasting of monie.. PC is totally not necessary if u jus change end can..

the above is my point of view.. some folks here might have more or better inputs or might differs from mine too.. let's see if there's discussion coming out from it so tat u & others can benefit from it or not.. lol..

i'm kinda curious.. u dun mod ur bikes before but how come u r interested to mod ur upcoming new bike? hehe..

lastly, dun need to see others have what then u must have what.. dun need to copycat.. do what u feel tat is necessary for u.. :)
