about the temperature, i rode side by side along my friend fz6n before... the temp rise and fall about the same for both.

As for the heat, FZ6 S2 full faired still cannot beat to FZ1 no fairing heat. #true story

 

i don't have much of a heat issue on fz1 lei.. maybe u like to stay in jams or go to jam areas ba..

i never actually bothers about FC of my bike.. if wan good FC, fz1 is not the choice already.. would go for other bikes with better fuel economy instead.. hahaha.. i always trust a moto that had been pasted down from the old fazerians, don't worry & ride more!

 

tires wise, so far i trust PR3.. no problem with high speed maneuverings in heavy storm of 50-100m visibility.. i still feels the grip and not feeling that the tires just sliding above the water.. hahaha..

 

Havent tried PR3. I tried Pirelli Dragon SC2 Pro. Hot days VVERYY eat. very shiok to ride on hot days.. but... raining.. thennn raining grip lose to PR2 imo

 

I must have a heavy wrist.. mine starts blinking at 230km..

 

 

if like that i must have a damm heavy wrist lo.. it starts to blink around 200km on non-touring days.. hahaha..

 

Hahaha... Then me how? I riding Fz6, tyres both correct pressure at all times. using K&N filter... only 1 HnB topbox.

but my FC is 180km blink liao.. LOL

first of all, is your tire in correct pressure? usually only low pressure or flat tire will have this situation..

 

Thanks bro, yes you are right; Tyre was punctured. Didn't know when or how the bike picked up the nail and causes all the problems.

 

Actually I also thought that and went to petrol station before riding that day. But unfortunately after reaching petrol station tyre already got hot and could not pump at all. Therefore I thought that tyre pressure was ok and that was my first mistake.

 

On my way back home, bike started to feel not balance properly; then I started to check and found overheated tyre. But could not find any crack or puncture at all at that time and I was too busy to check further. So, just left the bike without riding further. Finally, I manged to found the nail after checking the tyre several times in next few days. But by that time Tyre was already flat and ended up towing it to workshop to fix it only yesterday.

 

Tonight after rain stop, will ride again and see whether the hole is fixed properly or there is still any other extra unidentified surprise

better than me la.. tried kulai back to SG alone at 2am with a flat rear tire.. took me 2+ hours to ride back to home in 20-40 km/hr pace.. i kana a 1 cm cut with unpatchable solution, tried 3 worms also no use, it jus flew off within 50m.. it was having the same situation as yours, hot & sticky..

 

hence i say, anywhere in Sillyporeland if u all kana these r all consider small feat already..

when u turn your bike it feels reluctant to turn.. its most likely that sthg is wrong with the tyres. or when u accelerate it feels very sluggish.. chances are its the tyres. If u run prolong with low inflated tyres, your tyres will get uber hot and sticky.. if u ride long and fast enough.. it will have abit of different colours one.

Bro you are very expert la. Just wondering, how u got 3 worms at the middle of nowhere. U mean u carry all the accessories wherever u go? I won't know what to do if I would have been kana there.

no la.. every one is on a learning curve.. it's just a matter of more curvy or less curvy.. no one is expert cus there is always a higher mountain out there..

 

worms on the go? hahaha it was my touring trip.. hence i'm fully geared at that time..

i kana it before reaching the kulaijaya exit.. no choice had to ride on & exit & find a safe & well lighted place to check & repair.. in the end it is deem beyond repair, i told my friends to move on without me & i ride back & get it fixer the next day before regroup at sawadeeland.. hahaha..
