hi. i'm riding the 04 model, for fazer 1000, not much diff from the 03 till nw 05, onli color scheme is diff. the 01-02 model got 10% lighter crank then the later model..the purpose of heavier crank i tink is for better low rev drive...fuel consumption is the best for 1ltr bike so far i knw. full tank is 21ltrs, 17ltrs reserve light cm on(about 300++km milage) depends on the riding style...got 4ltrs reserve can at least last u 40-60miles) hope tis help

no, mine is still the silver engine..dun like the black color scheme. mine is FX 1 plus...the 1st batch of fx bike.. the time i bought my bike, its also came wif the limit edition yellow color bike wif black engine. the later model the standard black engine. i also nt sure mine is 04 or 03...forget liaoz.

I'm ridding a Fazer 1.

 

With correct tyre pressure and after proper warm up, my bike will cruise at 100Km/h with the RPM at 4000 under the sixth gear.

 

Average petrol so far is just under 21Km per liter.

 

Just thought that you might wanna know.

Hi all..Im new 2 tis bike FZ1. Have some prob lo.

 

1) When start, do we alwys need to throttle in order to start?

2) The bike dun sounds fierce hor? Like no power lydat. Sounds only la..but ride still ok.

3) Wat grade of 4T u all use? Im usin 10W40 motu, but not smooth lo. Change gear very rough.

4) any where to fix the box cheap?

5) K&N filter hw much?

 

Im quite bz at wrk to read forum to understand more. So any helpful gals out dere to assist me, the lazy yet bz guy!?!?
