Doubt the S4 is that heavy at 194kg as you've quoted.

More like 168kg, thereabout.

The Hornet 250 is not the only bike with the widest rear tyre in Class 2A category.

The GSR400 comes to mind as well. The GSR400 can be fitted with 190 cross-section rear tyre too.

Wonder can the Hornet 250 do so as well?

Overall, I believe the engine of the Hornet 250 is the key selling point.

Unique, nice-sounding and the last of it's kind.

UPZ for ya!

- Weight is lighter than an S4, S4 has 194 kg dry but this Hornet 250 weighs in at only 151 kg.

- 180/55 rear tyre, usually mistaken for a Class 2 bike if only seen from the back. The biggest rear wheel any 2A bikes can get, providing it with excellent cornering ability.

I see, senna4ever, thanks for your enlightening inputs. I must have read it wrongly somewhere.. Haha, yeah i saw the gsr400 too.. Damn sexy bike.. But i think in the 250cc range hornet has to have the biggest wheels.. Hehehe.. And i agree.. Its the sound that sets it apart from other bikes.. Cheers and have a good day!!!

They don't build bikes like this anymore, ya?

All the new 250s are single-cylinder engined.

Also, who would have also thought a 250c.c. engine can move a 180 cross-sectioned rear tyre.

Got chance, I'll wish to hear your SP Tadao-ed Hornet 250.

Should sound like an angry wasp.

Cheers!
