yes, it is the head cover gasket...

once it open up you can change the chain, need not to open up the whole engine...

will ask my mech to check the chain, if too loose then change it.

now no more tak tak sound when cold start ler, dunno why also....

bracket should not be a problem, my mech can do it...

if u want cheap and good LED brake lights, go get the yamaha SS110 third brake lights. cost i think RM40 +/- per pc. its LED, very bright. i got it together with my tailpiece cos the previous owner fix. its thin, like the R1 03 brake light- looks sleek :thumb:

should be able to fit, i've seen the seat cowl when he came to malacca few months back. very practical cos u get a single seat as well as not sacrificing the underseat storage. :thumb: :thumb:

thanks for the info, but ah choong will charge pretty high labour when you not buying parts from him... he doesnt like people bring oil or parts to his shop and ask him fix one ler...

i only do my servicing and repairing there, change chain or tyre those easy job i will go HKL or LAB for cheap stuff....

one more thing, i check the cbr900 service manual, there a timing chain tensioner thingy at the engine there, can we use it to tighten the chain?
