then what about malaysia car and bike that running on OUR road?

I agree. What about foreign vehicle? They also use our road everyday, riding/driving in and out of Singapore.

I'm not pointing fingers at the foreign riders/drivers. Just like us, they're a human too and would like to "personalized" their vehicle.

If LTA wants to enforce strict regulations, there should NOT be double standard.

I'm very pissed about the double standard.

I wish we're brave enough to do something (remember the movie, Fight Club) instead of sitting in front of our PC and be a "keyboard warriors".

I'm very pissed right now because i bought a custom bike and i need to keep a look out for LTA officers on the road.

I can't be bothered to reply them anymore. All their replies don't satisfy me leh. I find them talking CRAP :dozed:

when they cant out talk you, they confuse you with the awful and complicated terms which you can barely understand or lacks the time to go do the research like they do (THEY ARE FREE AND NOTHING TO DO)....

its been so long...

4-1 header is NOT Approved.

UNLESS yours is a Yoshimura FullSystem (or Any) exhaust Originally that came out from the factory.

Not by adding your "Own Mix of 4-1 Header" + "own brand end-can"

i support the tight enforcement. sadly not everyone is mature enough on modifying their bike.

i just wish they make things clearer to be fair.

Explain to me why I cannot look for more power like a full system in my class 2 sports bike?

Why? Why? Explain to me why?

can look for more power.

provided the exhaust is certified safe by the manufacturer for use with your vehicle, and meets exhaust and noise limits.

the above statement, as a concept, i fully agree and support. what i criticize is the manner in which sometimes LTA enforces the concept.

the past 5 years, so many exhausts slip-ons and full systems approved by LTA, which is in line with the concept, and therefore very good.

but it seems the past one year, if grumblings from forumers are to be believed, LTA either as an organization or from key individuals within, has reverted to its old stubborn "if its not stock then its illegal" mentality. which is not in line with the concept, and therefore stupid.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

Supercars with super loud exhausts with noise range above 105db are an exception. I call BS and double standards. Sounds reasonable on paper but actually bunch of nonsense in actual practice.

I wish can just bribe the LTA, make life easier. They don't actually make roads safer, that's TP's job.

If everyone was like you, Singapore would be a very boring place and LTA would not make money wahahaha

what is boring to individual is a very relative thing. let agree to disagree here.

LTA not making money complain. LTA making money also complain. as we can see from here, people are hard to please, so no matter what LTA rules is there will always be people that are not happy isn't it:cheeky: i just glad it work for me:thumb:

That's how it is, some people not happy that others not happy with LTA, some are perfectly fine with them. Either way, those not happy with LTA have to deal with them one way or another, those who love the LTA, well good for them.

As for me, I'll be hard pressed to find riders/drivers who like the LTA, let alone love.

yup internantional standards is not recognise in singapore LTA standards

even if its for safety reasons.

When it comes to lighting and exhaust regulations, LTA are acting just fcuking bean counters. Mindlessly going by the book.

Did you expect anything more from drones working in a STAT BOARD?

Agreed with people complaining abt the exhaust. I dont understand how much difference in noise level with a ss 4-1 header from a stock header for my cbr400 (not in production 10 years ago). does it even get any louder than the average class 2a bike? =.=

So now I'm basically forced to hunt for hurricane header all over the island just to pass my exhaust inspection to get my yoshi cert. freaking ridiculous. then being singaporean, the only place where u can be free of what u want to say is on the internet as a keyboard warrior, people dont protest against the authority because its illegal to do so unless at hong lim park and registered 3 months in advanced.
