 if u got the money to spare. get the boon siew one. =) parallel import are of the "so called" lower quality and cheaper.

if u getting a new bike, got some money to spare, get boon siew one. well more ex, but u can get the servicing done at boon siew etc. better in long run and have a better resale value. if u getting a 2nd hand one, lolx not much difference

Dun really argee that parallel is so call low quality.. Parallel is just that there is no warranty from honda dealer here in singapore(Boon Siew).

But then again.. How mani ppl will bring their bikes to service at the dealers? Most would go to motorshops and do.

Care to explain why getting a honda bike from boon siew fetches u a higher resale price?

Nike - Just do it!

I've to agree with Yzf_R1. Most people buy from agent service else where.

The reason why people buy it from agent is mainly because.. If there is a recall of bikes to repair any faults of yr current model from honda and u happen to buy from boon siew, u can get the fault repaired free.

That's why some people buy their Class 2s from boon siew even though it might be slightly expensive.

eh meaning those that is brought in by boon siew which has a label ( which is ugly ) are able to get a higher resale value as they are generally abit more x and the is quality assured

that's what i've learnt so far. lolx dont quote me and ask me about the quality and stuff like this. check around b4 ( for me ) boon siew bikes ( for honda ) are more x and can fetch better price.

u pay for wat u get  unless carrot-ed

label is only a sticker and can be removed, if you buy brand new bike from Boon Siew you can ask them not to stick on the label.....

Boon Siew bike come with a certificate stating that the bike(chasis number etc) is from them. That is about the only thing that can proved the bike is from them if you removed the stickers, of course Boon Siew keep their own records.

The only advantage is already mentioned, when there is quality problem and a recall to fix the problem, you get it FOC if your bike is within the warranty window period.

The other advantage which may be more evident some 10years back is only if your bike is from them can you purchase spare parts and send in for servicing, they will turn away all parallel imported bikes.

Unless your bike is rare and not many in the market, you can easily get the spares you required from Chong Aik.

In term of resales value, dont think you can get much out of it.

used to think tt way, till later found out tt BS may get their bike fm Thai, parallel import got theirs fm Japan, so which is better? Japan standard are much higher, so bike tt import fm there reach certain level, tt's the 4 season level. And most shiok is u can find "made in japan" in some parts of the bike.

BS service good? Don't know, very subjective.Friend got his ST11 tyres changed theres, rims got scratches all over, u think it's good?

I find ASP motor's quite EX, i once saw a CBR400 fireblade selling at $5850 at a bike shop in yishun industrial park, 1 or 2 wks later, i saw exactly the same bike at ASP selling for $6500. so u think is EX anot? Plus yishun tat shop is not the type of shop tat sell bike at low place.

i asked asphoon alexandra for a fireblade FM plate for 5k plus new paintwork and full servicing..whereas i called changi's branch, they quoted me a FM plate for 6.5k.

i bought my aprilia about 2 yrs back at asphoone serangoon for 2.5k. FQ plate.

but their policy is good as they provide rebate and stuffs.at least their customer service is good and their bike cond arent tt bad.
