accident on pie

Hi guys, I had an accident at pie on 12th june 2013 and was hospitalized. I call the IO and he mentioned I can go dwn anytime when I feel better.. my 1st accident. I didnt know wad to do. I shld report to my Insurance company? How?.. pls advice

Inform your insurance company. Go down to idac to make a report. Go down to tp to see the IO. Get a bikeshop and lawyer for repairs and claim.

i strongly suggestion you call up your insurance company and let them know your current situation so that they can advice you according. after all, they are the one going to fight for your case.

There are several idac around. Google it. Should be ok since you were hospitalised. This is all based on my personal experience about 5 years ago. The procedures and system might have changed, I'm not too sure.

 

Maybe you should wait for someone who has more recent experience to reply. Good luck and don't worry so much, get well soon.

You can always call the reporting center regarding the accident, tell them you're unwell with MC covered and unable to come down for a face to face reporting..I had mine 6 months ago. 2 Toes fractured and have alot of days of MC. Once done, get your bike to the workshop and they can do the reporting & the claim for you, please have documents ready for them and if needed to claim personal lost of income, they have lawyer who can help you.. Meanwhile please take good care of yourself!

Was travelling 70-80km/h inbetween lane 1 and 2 dotted line.. traffic flow is smooth can go 100km/h without obstruction. There was 2 vehicle infront of me. The 1st vehicle jammed his brake without any reason thus the taxi infront of me wack his ass as hes tailgating the car. If only the taxi ass doesnt sweve out to the dotted line, I would hv escape from it. It happen within a sec. I hit left side of his vehicle n flung 3 car length whereas I think my bike flung abt 10car length. I didnt tailgate. It so happen it ass swerve out to my lane as I tried to avoid but failed.

Well, it depends on how far the taxi's back swerve out of lane. However in normal circumstances, why will you be travelling in between ?

I got a few bad experience in travelling on the lane itself. I dun wan to be sandwich inbetween the car.

Lets put it this way...... Have you not lane split between 1 and 2 but like a goody rider and ride on the lane .... You would have hit the Taxi head on......the direct impact would be bad then now as you lane spilt you glaze off the side of the taxi.... The danger lies in you falling on to the path of other coming car....

either u ask bike shop to file case for u,cause some shop got law firm or what.

bike do up le,ride. concurrently go physio and give all mc,taxi receipt to law firm.

law firm will take it from there
